To say that Sevyn was surprised to see Simone at tennis practice would be a lie, She understood that Simone was seeking a sense of normalcy since telling her friends about the cancer diagnosis.

Their tennis coaches had each team running to either side of the courts and once Sevyn finished her she moved over to the side of the court with Thea.

They watched Simone's group run and they could see that she was falling behind a little, they watched as she walked over to them Sevyn already having Simone's water bottle ready for her.

"Hey, are you OK?" Sevyn asked while handing her the water bottle.

"I noticed..." Thea started.

"Dragging." Simone finished before taking a drink, "I know. I'm just sore from my biopsy, and I just didn't sleep well."

"Your appointment is today Simone and the lack of sleep isn't surprising," Sevyn told her.

"If you two saw me dragging, then Coach Loni will see it, too."

"Especially since it's Hell Week," Thea said making Simone look at her in shock and then to Sevyn to confirm and Sevyn nodded her head.

"Don't tell me you forgot," Sevyn asked her.

"Huddle up. Huddle up. Huddle up. Come on." Coach Loni called out making the team jog over to her.

"Let's all welcome Thea Mays back from the pro tour." Coach Loni started as the team started to clap, "She'll be spending this week with us observing and sharing her experience. This week, you will be tested in a series of timed fitness drills. Your performance will help us solidify the season lineup, so it's do or die."

"Simone, why don't you run them through their paces today?" Coach Loni asked making the three give the same look.

"Um, Coach Loni, if Simone's cool with it, can I just do it, for old times' sake?" Thea said with a light chuckle.

"I think it's a great idea," Simone said with a smile.

"OK, then. Thea, practice is all yours, but everyone stay ready. You'll receive a text with the day and time of your test, all right? Get to it." Coach Loni said before walking over to the side.

"All right, guys. On the line." Thea called out making the team follow her direction. Sevyn looked over to Simone one last time before heading over to the line.
