Today's tennis practice was getting Simone's stats now that she was an official member of the team. While Sevyn timed Simone's speeds she couldn't help but be proud of Simone she worked her way on the team.
Stopping the stopwatch Sevyn yelled, "Time!"
Panting Simone asked, "So?"
"6:52!" Sevyn said happily as the team cheered.
"Yes! Yes. Oh."
"Come check this out," Jerika said as she drop the bag in front of Simone. "Open it up."
Simone opened the bag with a laugh as she saw all the Bringston Tennis paraphernalia in the bag. "Just a little drip so you can look and feel your best on the court." She told her.
"Wow, y'all, this is more than I could even ever imagine."
"Congrats again on officially making the squad," Sevyn said as the team clapped.
"Hey. Thank you, y'all." Simone said with a smile before putting the bag on her shoulders and turning they looked to see an angry Thea standing on the court before walking off.
"Girl ignore her she's just jealous that she got some more competition don't let her ruin your happiness, you're on the team." Sevyn said with a smile before wrapping her arms around her, "we're on the same team again,"
"Nate, I cannot thank you enough for letting me crash here these couple of days," Simone said to Nate as she, Sevyn, and Keisha were in Nate's room while she did Sevyn's hair.
"All good. No sense in stressing trying to commute back and forth from your Aunt Amara's when there's plenty of space here." Nate said
"Hello. Could y'all at least pretend not to make undercover arrangements in front of your R.A.?" Keisha said causing Nate, Sevyn, and Simone to laugh.
"You got a lot going on. Especially since my girl done officially made the tennis squad." Nate said as Sevyn and Keisha cheered.
"Yeah, but I don't think everybody's too happy about it Sevyn is the happiest out of everyone."
