Sevyn sung along to I Wanna Know by Joe, it played lowly in the background while she finished typing her essay just as there was a knock on her door.
Not taking her eyes off her laptop she said, "It's open."
"Hey," Lando said as he peeked into her room before fully walking into the room.
Looking up at her boyfriend with a smile while moving her laptop off of her lap and getting off her bed she walked toward and hugged him before he said, "Sorry for just showing up."
"No, it's fine Lando. I'm sorry about your game."
"Yeah, uh, but that's not why I'm here."
Sensing his nervousness she gave him a confused look before saying, "OK. What's up?"
Grabbing ahold of Sevyn's hands he asked, "You and me, we have fun, right?"
Sevyn gave him a confused look before replying, "Unless you're annoying me Orlando."
Lando couldn't help but laugh at her answer before continuing, "Yeah. I'll take that as a yes. Um, and when we're together, it's uncomplicated..."
"Yeah. That's true." Sevyn agreed.
"...and our chemistry is..." Lando started while pulling Sevyn closer to him.
"Undeniable," Sevyn added with a smile as she wrapped her arms around him.
"Mm."
"I once heard a wise person say, "The only way to be heard is to speak your truth," so this is me doing that. Sevyn I am in love with you. I love you."
"Lando..."
"Now you don't have to say back because I said it, I just wanted to get how I felt off my chest," Lando said before kissing her and leaving, leaving the girl shocked.
