"we have to go grocery shopping."

"tyler, why is it the one day we're off together we have to get groceries."

"because we gotta figure out what we wanna eat. and i'd rather go with you than alone."

"i'd rather watch movies with you."

"i know me too."

i grab a shopping cart and start shopping with him. i hear a few scoffs toward our way, making my smile drop a little.

he grabs my hand and smiles, "it's okay, babe."

"i know," i whisper.

i stop at the produce, "do you want to make like.. lasagna?"

"of course," he smiles.

-

"this is boring," he laughs and holds my hand tighter.

"we need food."

"i know. but i'd rather starve."

"would you really?"

"well no."

"you think being with me is so boring?"

"no. of course not, honey. i'm just messing with you, honestly. i love any way i can spend with you."

"i love you."

"i love you too."

-

he grabs bags out of the trunk of our car and walks toward our apartment. it's late at night and i'm scared to be away from him. he's my protector.

i'm his protector.

-

"dinner was delicious, babe."

"thanks, i really tried."

"you should be a chef," i tell him.

he laughs and blushes a little.

"i shouldn't be one."

"yes, you should."

"i could never survive cooking on like a show or under gordon ramsay. i'd be too scared he'd yell at me."

"i'd never yell at you."

"i know."

"then you can just be my private cook."

"forever and always, baby," he smiles and holds my hand.

"forever and always."

i stick my tongue out at him.

"whats that for?"

"if i didn't make you go to the store, you'd be starving."

"fine. i'd rather not starve."

"i love you."

"i love you too."
