⚠️Racism⚠️

Y/n POV:

After the exhausting flight, we finally it to Naples. Price already book a reservation at a fancy hotel under fake names. I got out of the public bathroom at the hotel and had a nice cute top on with some black jeans. At least I'm the only one trying to blend in here unlike the others who had their military war on.

Being an assassin is like being an actress. You dress up, play the role and play it well. As I walked back to the lobby I felt eyes on me, multiple eyes. I turned to see some white people, Italian citizens, giving me disgusted stares as I walked.

Of course, when you're a black person in a European country, you become the star of the show. Except you for fans, you get racist idiots. I walked faster, trying to escape the stares. Without paying attention, I accidentally bump into someone.

Ironic for an assassin, I become clumsy when overwhelmed.

The Italian man turned around and cursed at me in his mother tongue.

"<You stupid bitch! Watch where you're going!>"

I tried to apologize in his language. I've managed to study some Italian in the past but I'm still a bit rusty.

"<Please forgive me, I was in a hurry.>" I said in a calm tone. The man got closer to my face and switch his tongue to English.

"Monkeys like you don't belong in my country. So I suggest you go back to where you came from!"

Don't get mad. Don get mad.

I keep repeating those words in my head as my teeth grind together and my fists tighten. As much as I want to beat this bitch to the ground, I can't cause a scene but that doesn't mean I can't defend myself if this guy tries to attack me.

"Quiet, huh? That's what I thought. Go back to the jungle where you belong!" The man began to walk away.

"Fuck you"

I didn't think he heard me until I saw him turn back around and stomp towards me. I brace myself, ready for whatever shit he tries to pull until the man stopped to a halt and looked like he was about to shit his pants. I felt a huge presence tower over me from behind.

"Is there a problem here?" I immediately recognize that thick German accent. Damn, why does he have to be here now? Konig spoke again when the silence went on for too long.

"I asked if there was a problem?"

"N-No... T-There's no problem." The Italian mf started fumbling over his words as he shakingly left. I will admit it was a bit satisfying to watch.
I was caught off guard when I felt Konig's huge hand rest on my shoulder.

"Are you alright? Price and the others are waiting for us."

"I could have handled that on my own. I didn't need your help" I said to him coldly.

"You know people say Thank you. And this isn't about whether you can handle it or not, I was only trying to help."

"Well you helped, you want a cookie?" I started walking away from him. Who does he think he is? Trying to be all nice to me as he didn't just talk shit about me in chopper a few hours ago.

I've been called many names but..a  "burden?" Why did that string me?

Konig POV:

What is her problem? I was only doing the right thing.

I watched her walk in the opposite direction where our rooms are and couldn't resist teasing her.

"Do you even know where our rooms are?"I smile under my mask as she froze in realization.

" I'll find my way to my room."

"Now you're just being stubborn. C'mon,  follow me." When I took a few steps in the direction of our rooms, I heard her boots click behind me, signaling she was following me.

3rd POV:

Two days past since you have been staying in the hotel. Captain Price gave you all strict rules and curfews which made you a bit frustrated. You did want to explore a bit of Naples and watch the scenery but you were here for business. Tomorrow is Viktor's B-day, the start of the party was estimated to be at 9 pm and the hotel you were staying at was about 50 mins away from the strip club the party would host at.

You tried to convince Price to let you sneak in a disguise, but his Dad genes immediately dismiss the idea. Leaving you and the other to be sitting ducks the whole trip until the plan for action takes place.

But the stay wasn't too bad, you were chilling in the spa while Konig and the boys got rowdy in the pool. When your spa session, you walked pass the pool to get to your room. You saw Konig relaxing on the pool chair and notice he still had his sniper mask on... In this hot weather? What an idiot.

Your eyes trailed down to his shiftless body, you took the moment to admire his form, how the water drops define his muscles, every battle scar being unique. It was like he had the body of a Greek warrior. Your eyes went further down and stop at his groin area- DEAR GOD!

You were beyond shocked at how someone can walk easily with that WEAPON 24/7. You snap out of the trance when you realize how out of line you were being and went to your hotel room. You felt disgusted with yourself, Konig was your teammate and you were still mad at him for calling you a "burden" but you'll prove him wrong tomorrow.

Konig POV:

It was the day of our target's b'day party. We had a quick recap meeting around 5:30pm, the party was expected to start at 9:00pm. We knew the plan front and back: obtain the target and bring him into question. No doubt there will be guards and Italian gangsters surrounding the premise of the club.

Me and ghost's job was to camp on of the buildings and take out any guards or snipers above ground. Y/n and Horangi will wait in the car and take care of the guards on the ground while Price and Soap will be the ones to catch Viktor. It was a simple task.

As I turned a corner in the hotel hallway, I bumped into something...or someone. I looked to see Y/n holding her face. Panic spread across my face and  I started apologizing profusely. I didn't want any quarrel between us, especially on this important day.

"<Oh Shit> I-I'm sorry!" I was freaking out and didn't notice accidentally let my mother tongue slip. I keep saying sorry but I wasn't prepared for what happened next.

Y/n grabbed my sniper mask and pulled me to her eye level. We were only a few inches away from each other. It felt like I was staring into her eyes forever until she spoke.

"Hey, it's okay. You don't have to worry yourself so much. Accidents happen."

Her voice sounded so soft when she said that to me, it felt so comforting. She let go of my mask and continue walking. I felt my face burn up as hot as the sun, thank god for the sniper mask hiding my cherry-red face.

It was almost time for us to head to the strip club and get into position. I was in my room, getting ready when I heard an aggressive knock on the door. Looking through the peephole, I saw Ghost with Soap. Unlocking the door, the lieutenant barged into my room with an unexpected question.

"Would you like to explain to me what Y/n's doing in your room?"

wait... WHAT?
