Black Smoke. Gunshots. Sweat and screams

All I can remember
All I can only remember

I was lying low on the ground, hiding under my bed like a kid playing hide-n-seek. But this wasn't some stupid kindergarten game, my LIFE was on the line. I knew my family was gone, I knew it once the screams stop. I quickly hushed my heavy breathing as I heard a large man walk to my doorstep.

"<Make sure every room is cleared out>"
He was speaking to his men in a different language. Russian, I assumed.

As he turned around and walked away, I managed to spot a tattoo of a wolf head on the man's arm with some writing on it. I couldn't see his face, it was hidden with a gas mask.

“<Even if there were survivors, poisonous gas will do the job, Sir>",  One man said to the tattooed man. I can almost see his face as clear as day, his mask had a clear Shield. I noted that he had an "X" scar on his right brow.

"<Very well, Let's leave.>"

I tended to cough but I didn't until all the stomps of the masked men were gone.

"Did you get all that?" I asked the police dispatcher as I turned up the volume of my phone and opened my window

"Yes, I did. Please stay calm ma'am. Help is almost to your location."

The last I heard before everything got pitch black.

I jolted awake, damn just was another nightmare. It some time to register that my hands were restrained to a white table. I scanned my surroundings, a gray room with nothing but a huge mirror in front of me and a single light above the table. Ah, yes... the interrogation room. As much as I would never admit it, I like being interrogated sometimes. I swear it's not a kink thing... at least I hope....but just the intimidating serious ambiance and suspense are what have me thrilled. Yeah, I get smacked around a bit sometimes watching the interrogator get angry enough to explode while their idiot friend tries to calm them down is entertaining. I know many ways to escape, it's just that I don't want to yet.

As I was anticipating the possibility, a painful throbbing sensation pierced my head. "Ow... What the fuck" I winced as I tried to remember what brought me into this situation.

Let's see, I was in the desert... then I stole a car, and then... Oh, now I remember.

IT WAS THAT STUPID TREE MAN!
