Chapter 1:

3rd POV:

It was a tedious plane ride, children crying every hour, the crowded seats. You hate riding in planes but it did have its perks. Watching the beautiful scenery outside your window you fought tooth and nail for. It was about 5 hours till landing so you decided to get as much sleep as you could get.

Once you arrived at the airport, your stomach growled embarrassingly loud. "Damn it, I knew snacking on only pretzels was a bad idea. " you said to yourself. Once you found a restaurant and got your food, you went to the specific seating section where you would might up ugh... Her. There she fucking was, the one and only Ms. Laswell...

The bitch was smirking as you made your way toward her. You keep your sour face, just to give her an idea that you didn't want to be near her. If only she so buddy-buddy with you "uncle", you would have cussed her out every chance you get but let's be real... You were only here for business, YOUR BUSINESS. If you have to work with her to get what you want then so be it.

"Come on, we traveling on a helicopter" Laswell commanded and she started walking. "Are you serious right now? I just landed from an exhausting 19-hour flight and we're traveling in the air again?!" You added extra emphasis to the end of your sentence. Laswell faced you with an annoyed expression, "well, would you rather travel in a cramped car? it's a 2-day drive from here to the base. " You were silent, contemplating whether a helicopter or car ride would be better, eventually you gave up and chose the helicopter. You prayed someone put you out of your misery as you sluggishly followed Laswell.

Konig POV:

This was a long and irritating car ride. For someone as huge as Konig, being comfortable was the last thing on his mind. The car was jam-packed with supplies and a few soldiers, most notably soap and ghost who were having their conversation.

Soap was the one trying to lighten up the mood, he knew everybody was cranky having to wake up early and be cramped in a tin can like sardines. His jokes did rise some smiles and managed to get a small laugh out of Konig. Ghost was a different story, he was mainly silent through the ride but also had quite an intimidating aura around him. The type of aura that screams "don't talk to me or you'll lose a finger." Poor Guy must haven't had his coffee yet. Whatever mission Captain Price has for them must be very important if they had to travel to the middle of the desert for it. All Price mentioned this morning was that they were receiving a "package" of some sort, guess Konig and the others would have to wait and see what's inside.
