⚠️Thasslophobia⚠️3rd POV:
Darkness ...
Coldness...
Emptiness...Those were three things you've always hated about the ocean or any large body of water to be exact.
Swimming pools you can tolerate just as long as you can feel the ground. You never dared to go near the deep end of the pool when you were younger. You didn't even have your first swimming lesson until you were 14 years old. You had a few scary moments during your lessons.
But the situation you were in right now, didn't compare to it at all
The crisp, icy temperature of the water felt like needles piercing into your skin. You had your eyes closed the whole time, afraid to open them in fear of seeing something or nothing at all. While your body threatened to shut down on itself, you helplessly wail your arms and legs trying to escape the submerging void.
"Hold your Breath."
You remember that was the last thing you heard. Who's voice was that again?
Soon, you felt big yet gentle hands wrapped around you. Startled by the sudden touch, you attempted to push yourself away from the unknown stranger until you felt their hands hold your face making you open your eyes.
Despite the darkness of the water, the moonlight was enough as a light source as you stared into the prettiest greyish-blue eyes. You soon recognize the person to be Konig, who grabbed you by the waist and started swimming along the tides.
You closed your eyes as they started to get a bit irritated from the cold water. Your lungs desperately wanted to breathe but you held it in. Unknowingly, you hugged Konig tightly like a little kid with a stuffed animal. He noticed and for a second thought that it was cute as he continued swimming the both of you to safety.
Feeling a surface underneath your feet, meaning you were in the clear to open your eyes again. You saw the beach shore, swam up to the top of the water, and popped your head out, shallowing as much air as possible. Crawling on the sand to where you were a good distance from the ocean, you pant and cough out the water that managed to seep into your lungs.
Konig walked up to check on you. When he put his hand on your back, you placed your knife near his neck.
"If you ever do that again, I will kill you."
"Well, I'm glad to see that you're still lively." He sarcastically said, walking close to the shoreline.
With his back turned, he took off his helmet and sniper mask, trying to squeeze the water out of the mask. You saw his shoulder-length, light brown hair. The way it softy glowed in the moon's light. The way water droplets define every curvy lock. You were curious about what his face looked but if he wanted you to know, he would have done it in front of you.
Not wanting to invade his privacy, you turned away and wait for him to put his mask back on.
Konig POV:
I was a bit nervous of unmasked myself with Y/n behind me but to my surprise, she respected my boundaries and didn't try to see my face. I couldn't have waited till I got somewhere private to do this, but the thought of wearing a drenched mask would have driven me insane.
Once I finished, I went back to Y/n, who had her back turned around. Now, I finally get some answers out of her.
"Want to explain why the hell you planted your tracker on me and ran off to do the mission alone?"
"...Because Soap was with Price most of the time and Ghost would have figured out I planted it something him...you were my only option." She said kicking the sand lightly.
