3rd POV:

“What are you doing here?!” Konig let go of you as he put his knife away, “Sneaking up on me like that was stupid, what if I had a gun and shot your face off?”

“Well, I'm glad you didn’t, besides it's payback for that stupid prank pulled on me in my cell.”

“Speaking of which, how did you escape Laswell’s custody this time?”

“Actually...She let me out.” The Austrian looked at you befuddled.

“That doesn’t sound like her.”

“We made a negotiation…if I lead her team to the warehouse, I don’t have to be in custody. But the deal came with a price…” You lifted up your right arm to reveal a tracker bracelet attached to her arm. It seemed to have a small pocket of a green liquid, assumedly a poison. Konig looked at you with fear written in his eyes.

“Don’t worry, I have to temporarily wear this until I meet back with Laswell. The CIA uses this special bracelet on criminals who are released in order to help them with missions. But if they went rogue, the poison inside the bracelet would instantly neutralize them.”

“Laswell wouldn't do something like that, I thought you two were close.”

“Were.” She emphasized, “This is about relationships, Konig. This is about getting the job done. Besides, I was the one who suggested wearing the bracelet in the first place. If I stepped out of line, then I'm a goner.”

“So, why are you here talking with me?” Konig sighed.

“Because…I need you. Your help that is. Don’t worry about Laswell, she can hear every word through this tracker.”

Konig looked at you, unsure how to feel about the situation, but he gave up and sighed.

“Ok…I’m all ears.” You gave a nod before speaking.

“There is a scientist named Scarlet Ross, an American scientist who used to work for the CIA but got released and went under the radar.” You pulled out a photo of her and a casino and gave it to Konig.

“We suspect that she might be working for the S.Ws., whether intentionally or not, we don’t know yet.”

“How do you know it’s her, though?”

“Remember the briefing we had before we went to Naples? The receipt price showed us had the name Scarlet R. on all of them, so Laswell’s team did some digging and found out she was the one sending scrap parts for the bombs.” You pointed to the picture.

“The coordinates you gave me lead me to a casino, but I'm glad I waited around and did some…questioning.” Konig eyed you at your sudden pause, slightly afraid he was next on your hitlist for giving you false coordinates.

“So uh -cough- …What did you find?” He asked as he was fidgeting with the photos.

“I think the casino has an underground tunnel that will lead us to the warehouse and I need your help to find it.”

“My help?”

“Laswell let me make a choice, it was either go big or go home. I need to work with a member of the 141 task force if we were going to find Scarlet and bring her in. I just need you to trust me, Konig.”
