Konig POV:

One…two…three…

The external voices spiraling around me started to muffled as I zoned out of it again.

Four…five…six…

My fist tightly grasped the tattered cloth of my mask. My face was met with the cruel breeze of the wind.

Seven…eight…nine…

The elevator filled to the overstimulation by adding the screech of the gears as it lowered down to the next stop. My eyes narrowed at the dangerous person stand crossing from me, ready for action.

Ten…eleven…twelve-

WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THE COUNTING?!

My senses instantly stilled as I became fully aware of the situation, I almost forgot I subconsciously started to count in panic mode. The person in front of me was not the enemy, it was Y/n, not being able to control herself as much as me. My inner rage takes a long time to tame but I have to remember the consequences if I'm not careful.

Y/n climbed in through the elevator window and was inside the metal box with us; we didn’t
know what her next move might be but we waited. Five men vs a woman obviously is a fair long-lasting fight but Y/n can be unpredictable sometimes so I can’t take her for granted. After a moment of stillness she finally made an action, lunging at Soap first and stabbing him through his hand as he blocked the blade. He screamed in agony as keep resisting the knife. Me and Horangi held back Y/n as Gaz and Price tended to the Scottish man.

It was much of a fight against our grasp since she was perfectly still. That's when I realized we made it to the Skyline and the elevator doors opened; it was the perfect opportunity for y/n to throw us out of the elevator into the room. I crashed into some tables, absorbing the pain on my back. Horangi seems to save his fall as well. Price and the others also exited the elevator and tackled Y/n to ground.

“Took you fellas long enough.” Ghost teased as he had Wolf Spider and her assistant at gunpoint.

“Kinda rude of you to not wake us”

“As a matter of business, workers don’t sleep on the job, Soap. How’s your hand?”

“Hurts like a bitch. Give us the word, Price. Should we shoot?”

All attention was Price, who was struggling to hold Y/n down as he pondered for a bit.

“No… we need her to deactivate the code on the microchip or all is lost.”

“As if killing me will solve the problem anyway” Wolf Spider laughed, “if you pulled the trigger on me, Y/n will kill herself since there is no commander to give her orders. That’s how it works, in case you think I'm bluffing.”

My body has a mind of its own as I furiously stride to Wolf Spider, my shadow swallowing her small form but she didn’t break her confident character the slightest, which meant she wasn’t lying. She stared back at me with a smirk, knowing that killing her would be useless. Never in my life have I been provoked to hit a woman.

“Why are you so worried about a silly little girl anyway? Is she not just an obstacle in the way? Wouldn’t it be better to take her out yourselves?”

“Quiet, you have no authority to speak.” I said to the blonde Russian as I twisted her arms behind her back.

Just as a last report, Spider’s assistant denoted smoke bombs to distract us, causing Y/n to escape the Captain’s grasp and attack me. Ghost immediately shoots twice at the man’s chest. Before we knew it, more wolves showed up to the skyline. Through the roof, the windows and elevator openings. it seems like they used the trojan technique to ambush us.
