(Happy Valentines❤️ )

Konig POV:

I dogged the first swing that was thrown at me, and then the next. My body still arched from the impact of the blast but the adrenaline rush counteracted the pain. However, my focus wasn’t on whether I’m in pain or not; my attention was only on my attacker, who shared the same face as the beautiful girl I met beforehand.

Each punch and jab I took from Y/n hurt me both physically and emotionally - talk about adding salt to injury. As much as I refuse to fight her, I can’t give up and die; there has to be a way to neutralize her. I waited for an opening so I could disarm the knife from her. When I locked her right arm behind her, I saw a microchip on the back of her neck. From the information I got from Laswell, this is most definitely those mind-controlled chips they were crafting.

Y/n elbowed me in the ribcage when I was distracted, the sudden attack almost made me lose my grip. Restraining her was effective but I know it won’t last long, so I elbowed her into one of her pressure points, knocking her out. It was only a reckless move but hopefully, we’ll look back and laugh.

I looked around to see that Wolf Spider and her minions were gone while I was busy with Y/n. The ambassador was also nowhere to be seen, they must be trying to track him down. I heard groans as some of my crewmates started to regain consciousness again.

“Captain, Wolf Spider and her mutts went after the ambassador, and Y/n is under her control. We need to contact Laswell!”

“Hey hey slow down son, let me get myself together first...” Price said as he sluggishly got up. “Now, start over from the top.”

I gestured to the unconscious woman on the ground. Price had a hint of concern in his eyes as he frantically checked his ex-protégé’s pulse for a sign of life.

“It’s okay, I’ve only knocked her out.”

“And you did one hell of a job. To me, I thought she kicked the bucket.” The captain scoffed as he handcuffed Y/n and studied the troublesome device on her neck.

“Is there…a way to take it off her?” I frighteningly asked him.

“The only way to deactivate the chip is if a special code is said from the superior themselves; it's voice-activated which means we can’t pry it off or tamper with it, It can lead to great damage.”

Damn it, this means that Wolf Spider has to stay alive after all. Well so be it, I'm ready to put all the cards on the table if it means bringing Y/n back to normal. Gaz, Horangi, and Soap eventually met with Price and I.

“Captain, a good few of the CIA workers aren’t doing too well, which means we’re basically on our own with about 40 wolves to hunt.” Gaz said, holding up a semi-conscious Soap around his arm who started to look around his surroundings.

“Hold on just a sec…Where’s Ghost?” He asked. Everyone looked around as the skull-masked member was nowhere to be seen.

Price smirked, “Sly bastard must have gone after the Wolves himself during our naptime. Come on, let's go after them. "

"But Y/n…we  can't leave her like this."

"Don't worry, I'll contact Kate and tell her about the situation. But there's no more time to waste, Konig. We need to start up one of the elevators."

I nodded to the captain. My eyes glanced between Y/n and my crew. I don't want to leave her but I knew I had to stop the Wolves with all I got.

Wolf Spider POV:

“<This is a disaster! Unbelievable! All my hard work leading to this work has been rudely interfered with by those 141 rats!>”
