§The Morning§

I woke up with the sun streaming in between the slits of the blinds. I try to ignore it, but it's right on the line of my eyes. When I try to get up I feel a heavy weight on my waist and almost scream, but when I look down, I see Ashton's arm wrapped tightly around me. When I try to move it, it wouldn't budge. I continue to struggle until I feel him laugh under me. I look up into his face and see him staring down at me, smiling.

"How long have you been awake?" I ask.

"After the first time you tried to move my arm." I look down blushing while he chuckles more.

"You could have told me."

"And ruin the fun of you trying to move my purposfully heavy arm? Nope."

"You purposfully made your arm heavy?" I smack his chest and he just laughs in return, "Can you please lift your arm off me?"

Ashton does as he is asked and lifts his arm, but the grin is still on his face. I get up and close the blinds. After that I turn around to look at the couches and see Luke in the recliner chair, Saith and Cameron facing opposite directions at each other's feet on the love seat, and Jessi and Seth cuddling each other at the opposite end of Ashton. I smile at our group, but my eyes get caught on Jessi and Seth. Jessi looks peaceful, and if you look at him for a while, I'm pretty sure Seth is smiling in his sleep. After looking around again I realize Derek and Sam are missing.

"I'm gonna go look for Derek and Sam." I say to Ashton as he gets comfortable on the couch again. I walk into the kitchen and see the mess from last night, but no Derek or Sam. I walk up the stairs and see a light in the crack of the door to the guest room.

When I walk in, there is no one in the room, but the light to the bathroom was on with the door shut. I walk up to the door, but when I pass the closet I hear snoring. I open the door to find Sam sleeping on the floor.

"Saaaammmmmm..." I lull, but he doesn't wake. I sigh and sit on him, "Sam! Sam! Saaammmm!"

I poke him and he groans as he opens his eyes. When he sees me he gasps, but then smiles, "I didn't know I was gonna get a wake up call."

"Where's Derek?" I ask looking around the spacious closet.

"I think he's showering."

"Why are you guys up here?"

"Well we were on the couch, but Seth is a sleep kicker and uh- Derek can't uhm sl-sleep at other people's h-houses..."

"Yeah, I keep forgetting to ask him about that... Do you know what that's about?"

"It's not my story to tell..."

"But if I just knew wh-"

I was cut off by the door to the bathroom being opened. Derek walks out... in only a towel....

"Hey Sam wha-" He turns and sees me staring. He smirks, "Like what you see?"

I have to admit his six pack looked pretty amazing and those pecs.... Ah! Snap out of it. You're supposed to hate him.

"No, you need to stop eating so much. It's starting to stab you in the back." I laugh as he rolls his eyes. I look at his face and realize he has huge bags under his eyes, "Did you get any sleep last night?"

"No. I uh couldn't sleep Seth kicked me off the couch, literally."

"Sure that's the reason. Anyways, I'm gonna go downstairs and figure out if we are gonna keep sleeping or eat. Come down when you decide." I leave the room and go back downstairs to find Luke, Cameron, and Saith all awake and playing card games.
