§Daddy Issues§

*UHM.. SO... Sorry?

I know that doesn't cover it. But I reeeaaally am. Uhm. This chapter however explains a lot. So is it worth it? I hope I didn't lose reads because of the wait. Sorry again.

<Recap!!

I walk out to look for Jessi, but to my disgust I find a disgusting act of saliva swapping on display in the middle of the hallway.

"Oh my god..." I whisper.

The couple pulls away and looks at me.

Ashton and Karla are hooking up?>

Enjoy!*

Karla smirks and Ashton wraps his arm around her waist as I scrunch up my face and roll my eyes.

"What's wrong? Sad that I got the guy.. Again?" Karla sneers.

I smirk, "Its okay. You can have my sloppy seconds.. He wasn't that good to begin with." I turn and walk down the hall to my next class.

Karla stomps her heels in annoyance and I smirk in victory. As I turn the corner I see Derek and smile, until I get closer and see bags under his eyes. I frown and walk over to him, "Hey sleepy head..."

He looks at me and smirks lazily, "Hey sweet cheeks."

I roll my eyes. Even when he's about to pass out, he still finds a way to get under my skin, "Didn't sleep last night?"

His playful smirk quickly becomes a grave faraway look and he grunts a no before turning and walking away.

Wait.. What? What the hell? He went from playful and fun to sad and angry? Something is seriously wrong with this boy, and I'm gonna figure it out.

Kick. Grunt. Kick. Groan. Kick. Growl. Kick.

His head whips up as he glares at me, "WHAT?!"

I bite my lip to hold in my laugh, "Did you just growl at me?"

He rolls his eyes and relaxes in his chair again, "Maybe..."

"You shouldn't sleep in class you know..." I say while straightening out my papers.

He looks at me dubiously before chuckling, "You really ARE a goody goody..."

I sigh and blow my hair out of my face frustratedly, "No."

"I bet you've never forgotten to turn in an assignment."

I smirk, "Ha! I have. It was in 6th grade. I didn't turn in my homework." He gives me a look and my victorious aura starts to fade, "Fine. It was extra credit and I turned it in at the end of class after letting Jessi copy off it."

He laughs and shakes his head, "Goody goody."

"Hey. I'd rather be a goody goody than a bad girl."

He crosses his arms, looks at me and raises his eyebrow, "Really now?"

I nod and look at him. He smiles and looks down at his desk.

Just as I was about to say something, the door of the classroom opens, and in walks Jack.

He looks around the class and winks at me. As he walks up the stairs to the back of the classroom, I finally speak, "What are you doing here?"

He smiles and sits on the opposite side of me, "I got the principal to enroll me so I could spend my senior year with my best friends."
