§What Happened?§
I immediately try to push him off me, but failed against his strength. He pulled us outside, closed the door and pushed me against a wall.
"Come on. Give us another chance."
"Get off me."
"Not until you answer me."
"No. Now get off!"
"You heard her man. Get off." I glance behind Ashton to see Derek standing in my driveway with a stone cold look on his face.
"Back out of this Wells or you'll be sorry." Ashton hissed.
Derek walked up to him, pulled his shoulder, and ripped him away from me. I let out a breath and rub my wrists from the grip he had on me.
"Stay out of this." Ashton growled getting in a fighting stance.
Derek didn't back down, "Stay away from her. I don't care if you're her boyfriend. Right now. She doesn't want to see you. So step off."
I meekly whisper, "Actually we broke up..."
Derek looked at me with shock giving Ashton the perfect chance to hurt him. He took it and connected his fist with his jaw as Derek stummbled backwards.
Derek grabbed his jaw and popped it back into place as he glared at Ashton, "So that's how we're gonna play it?"
Derek lunged forward, tackled Ashton to the ground, and started punching any and all open spots.
Soon Ashton had flipped the roles and was the one calling the shots.
I stand there in horror as I see what goes down.
They quarrel for a few minutes before Derek gets the upper hand and knees Ashton in the crotch.
He groans and cups his area as Derek sends him a few more swings and stands up. He limps over to me and grabs my wrists and looks at them.
"Damn. He had a good grip on you."
I stare at him as he speaks. How can someone so beaten look so good? Maybe it's the badass effect. You know the tattoos, piercings, cuts, bruises.
"Yea. But it's nothing compared to what he did to you."
He shrugs and looks behind him, "Its okay. I got him pretty good..." He smiles a lopsided smile.
"Well let me clean up those cuts." I grab his hand and walk into the house to the kitchen, "Sit."
He jumps onto the counter and wipes some blood trickling from his nose.
I grab some alcohol and pour it on a tissue, "This may sting." I start to dab his wounds as he sucks a breath through his teeth and winces.
*AUTHORS NOTE!! THIS WAS NOT RUBBING ALCOHOL!! JUST PLAIN ALCOHOL!!*
I frown, "Sorry." As I finish I notice Derek looking at me, "What?"
He just smiles and shrugs, "Nothing." He takes the bottle from my hand and takes a swig.
"You're underage..."
He gives me a look and starts laughing, "Wow. You really are a goody-goody." He pushes the bottle into my hand as I give him a blank stare, "Drink up."
I scrunch up my face in disgust and set the bottle down, "No. I promised my mom to never drink before I'm 21."
He just rolled his eyes, "One little drink won't hurt anything... Just. One. Drink."
