§You Owe Me§
"So he jumped in the laundry basket and tumbled down the stairs." She laughs looking at Derek with a twinkle in her eyes, "He smashed into the wall, but just keep trucking. After all, he had to save the galaxy from the sock monsters."
I lean back in my chair, feeling my stomach hurt from all the laughter while Derek hides his face in his hands.
"Mom..." He groans out, still not making eye contact with me.
She wrinkles her nose up at him, "I haven't even told her the best stories yet."
Derek stands up, "Okay. That's enough of that."
He grabs my hand and drags me up the stairs as Amanda starts cleaning up the table.
"Awe. I wanted to hear more." I plop on his bed as he shakes his head at me.
"Too bad." He closes his door and sits next to me.
I smile, "I really did have a good time tonight. Your mom is the cutest."
He smiles, "Yea. She is." He leans back on his elbows and sighs in content. I hear a car door close and glance out the window.
"What?" I stand up as Derek sends me a questioning look.
"Everything okay?" He stands up and looks out the window.
I smile, "Yea. Everything's fine. It's just Jack."
Derek nods and opens his door, "Go ahead."
I look at him and hesitate, "I don't wanna rush out of here... Come with me."
He shrugs and we walk down the stairs out the door to my house. Jack turns around and smiles at me, "Hey Peach." We hug and I unlock my door and walk in, "I didn't realize you had company.."
Jack glances at Derek with a suspicious glare, while Derek leans against the wall and smirks, "Well.. Uhm.. Make yourselves comfortable. I'm gonna get something for us to drink..."
I walk into the kitchen and let out a stress filled sigh. What was I thinking? I open the fridge and juice falls out, spilling its contents all over me.
"God..." I mumble some incoherent things before wiping up the floor and ringing the Apple out of my hair.
I walk back into the living room as the sticky feeling settles on me, "Is it okay if I take a quick shower?"
The boys look at me and Derek shrugs, "Ask the PMSing boy over there."
Jack glares at him and nods, "Yeah. Go ahead princess."
I smile gratefully and jog up the stairs. After stripping the slimy clothes off, I hop in the warm, relaxing shower.

*THIRD POV(no specific person)*
Maggie jogs up the stairs and Jack sits on the couch. Derek comes and sits next to him, putting his feet up on the coffee table. Jack glares at him and he chuckles, "Do you have a problem or something?"
Jack grits his teeth, "Yeah, you."
Derek raises his eyebrow, amusement written on his face, "Really?"
Jack nods, "You're a bad influence for her. Ever since she's met you, Maggie has changed. She hasn't been caring as much for her school work, she's been slacking on rehearsals, and she's got an attitude. "
