Gyuri didn't hear anything else from Mark that day, and she was glad. She eventually went to bed, still pissed off at what he did but a little more relaxed since there hadn't been anything to fuel the frustration after the discussion in de group chat. The next morning she checked her messages but there were none from him.
To be honest, she didn't want to talk to him but still felt slightly disappointed that he hadn't even sent her a small apology. She had expected him to send her something by now, even if it was just a quick 'sorry'. Not that she would've left it at that, but it would've at least been good to know he regretted his words because he had genuinely hurt Gyuri with what he had said. He just assumed that she had gone home with a guy she barely knew, even though he should've known Gyuri wasn't the type to do that. She wasn't even the type to kiss someone in a club, but that was just something the alcohol caused her to do. Even if Ruby and Nia hadn't pulled her away, she would've never followed the guy home.
It upset her that Mark had called her stupid and acted like he should make her decisions for her. She would never let anybody tell her what to do unless she asked for it herself. Especially in her relationships with other people, whether it be family, friends, lovers, or strangers, anybody but the people in the relationship could judge on its nature. No matter how close someone was to Gyuri, it was not their right to get mad at her for hanging out with somebody. They could advise her, of course, to take a step back or to go all in, but they had no right to make the final decision.
Mina was still at her parents and Gyuri didn't feel like bothering her with her annoyance, so she distracted herself by doing some chores around the house. She cleaned some of her pets' things and did some laundry before she decided to tackle the windows, something she hadn't done for months and was becoming very noticeable with all the summer sun that shone upon them. She went onto the balcony and felt the hot sun engulf her skin in warmth. She instantly realized what she was wearing was too hot and she took off her shirt, leaving the girl in a bralette and some loose, thin pants. Going out on the street with this much skin revealed was not done in Korea, but Gyuri couldn't be bothered to completely cover up in her own home. And if people spotted her on her balcony, then so be it.
She never was one to go crazy about showing skin, being raised by Korean parents, but she liked being comfortable in summer. If the temperature allowed it, she liked being able to wear something that didn't make it hotter than it already was. She lived in a city after all, so the summers could get really hot.
With a little r&b playing in the background, Gyuri rubbed the dirt and dust from her windows and wiped them clean one by one. She hummed along to the songs and swayed softly to the beat. Some of the water she was using dripped onto her head and clothes, but not to the point where it was uncomfortable. Gyuri ignored it, wanting to finish the job first.
