It had only been two days since their Christmas dinner, but it felt like a lifetime to Gyuri. After what was such a wonderful evening, she only missed Mark's company even more. She wished the awkward tension between them could just fade away. She wanted to text him, hang out with him, talk to him, and laugh with him like they always did.
She figured that, even though she wanted to give him space, she would also have to put in some effort to talk to him because she was more likely to break the ice than he was. Taking out her phone, she fell backward onto her bed and decided to start easy with a text.
