Hi Scrubber Towners and Dark Parkers, Stace and I are a bit behind with our updates on Dark Park events. We're tired of Dr Una being on our backs, reminding us to write something. She keeps threatening to give the job to someone else; Suze for instance. We can't have that, so here's all the goss, which should keep you happy for a while.
Jacinta, who is the sister of Jimbo, one of the Around the World, Around the Corner managers, has created a range of insect repellents to use outdoors, especially at summer barbies. They are supposed to double as fragrances, so a repellent doesn't overpower your perfume. We said supposedly. There are four in the collection. Jacinta has claimed to have made a shitload of money.

Anyway, we were at Komik Kal's place for a barbie ,and Kara-lyn, Jules, of JulesJewls as well as Kal's daughter Kimberley and his niece Kayla had offered to road-test these new products.
However, the repellents/perfumes didn't quite work as Jacinta intended because Kara-lyn, Jules, Kimberley and Kayla found they were swarmed by flies and mozzies. They tried brushing them away from themselves and their food, but the insects just kept coming and covered their backs and crawled over the food. We hear they even swallowed some as well. They tried racing inside, but the flies and mozzies just followed them and it took ages to clear them out of Kal's house. It was hilarious and Stace and I nearly wet ourselves laughing.

Jacinta wasn't impressed and blamed the women of course, saying that they must have been wearing something else as well, like body lotion or talc powder. Geez, who wears talcum powder? We thought only babies.
Jacinta is now worried that she's going to be sued and unmake her shitload of money. That's quite likely Jacinta, so better watch out.
A new function has arrived at the Dark Park Tavern. Every Friday night, there's a Smarm'n'Charm session, which is just another name for speed dating.
It's run by Jimbo from Around the World. He and his sister Jacinta like to have a finger in lots of different pies. He did try the idea at ATW resort, but it didn't work, as many families go there. Husbands and wives got pissed off when they found their other half sneaking off in search of new talent. Jealous fights and rages broke out.
