Okay so something that makes me so fucking pissed off is when people call bands/artists sell outs because of their new album style. litERALLY WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. It bothers me when I go on iTunes reviews on like say All Time Low. So many people comment "sell outs", "turning into pop stars", or "I miss the old All Time Low". Is this really necessary!? Hating on a bands new direction of music. There is a complete fat difference between sellouts and new music direction.
All Time Low said they never want a new album to sound like an older one they've published because they are testing out new styles. IS THAT WRONG FOR FUCK's SAKE!? You better not say yes you asshole. Being a sellout is getting someone to produce your music, not caring about your fans, selling your looks and putting little effort into your music career. A new musical approach is when a band/artist wants to try a new style. It's not selling out at all, All Time Low still loves their fans are blessed to come this far and put their 100% in everything and they write their own music with some of their biggest inspiration, thats not selling out.
Other bands like Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Sleeping With Sirens, of Mice & Men, Green Day, and Mayday Parade also got accused of this which isn't at all fair. Wishing the old them musically was there isn't gonna change anything, its their choice. If you like the old them better than well fuck you and listen to their old music instead, they don't need fans like you to disapprove. And for all the fans that have grown up with their bands, thank you :') And for example, this can come out in an extremely beneficial, LIKE HAVE YOU HEARD FOUR!? its fucking PERFECT, One Direction started writing their own music and its gold tbh.
Comment your favorite band btw babes, see ya later!! :D - zuhal x
