Manor Jessa!! Heavy angst and death ahead! Read with caution.

Sunlight spilled in through the window, casting blocky patterns on her Tessa's tan skin. J had the urge to trace her fingers over the soft flesh and count every freckle, cataloging them away for later review.
Alas, that would be wildly inappropriate of a maid. Would it not?
Emerald eyes gazed into her own, full of sleep. Soft, tender, kindness. J melted once more as Tessa smiled.
"Good morning, Jay-Bird," Tessa rasped. Oh, robo-god, the gravelly sleep in her voice always made J weak.
J lightly shook herself, straightening her posture. She must not slump at her Tessa's bedside.
"Good morning, boss," J dipped her head respectfully.
J watched her Tessa stretch her hands above her head and listened to the light crackle of bones followed by a satisfied grunt. She was exquisite in every way.
Her sleepy Tessa turned to her and beamed, patting the bedside. J looked this way and that, feeling as though she might be caught in some sort of crime. This really was very unorthodox.
"Are you sure that's such a good idea, boss?" J whispered, fragility blatant in her voice. She could hear it herself, obviously enough. It reminded her of frost covered roses. She'd tried to pick some for her Tessa before, but the petals had only strewn about into flakes. Too brittle, not dissimilar from her fear of overstepping.
Tessa gently tugged J closer by her arm and opened her mouth to speak, interrupted by a visitor at the door.
"Heya, Tessa!! V and I finished our chores early! Can we hang out in the library together today?" N chirped.
J felt a ball of thorns in her stomach. The way her Tessa smiled at the boy was something J yearned for. It was meant to be hers and hers alone. It was J's triumph and victory to make her human smile, not his.
But she swallowed down the envy.
Her Tessa smirked and clapped her hands together. "Ah! Of course! Like a date!"
"Oh!" The soft boy gasped, followed up by an unsure giggle. How crude. "I- uh- I didn't think of it that way ehahah..!" He blinked and rocked on his heels.
"I would like it to be that way," N admitted quietly.
Her Tessa clapped giddily, and J felt a flutter in her mechanical heart. Though it was mot likely just wistful thinking that her Tessa's eyes flicked to her own with purposeful intent.
For someone so dedicated to her job, J did an awful lot of daydreaming such as this. She would let her imagination run wild during her more arduous tasks around the Manor.
Robo-god knows how unprofessional that was.
But her Tessa? Her Tessa was all that love would ever be. All that love COULD ever be. And she wanted to be selfish. She wanted something to herself for once. She wanted her Tessa all to herself.
To have and to hold. To love until death did them part.
Her Tessa promised as much, once. Oh, what a beautiful recountance. A faint smile played upon J's lips as she replayed the moment once more.
It was a stormy night in the Manor. Tessa had sent N and V to bed early in their room, but called out to J once more. The single letter called out into the silence enveloped by the storm, tumbling from soft lips.
A plea, just her name, in Tessa's sweet voice: "J?"
And J, like any good maid, turned back. There was no underlying hope in her heart. She did not hope that Tessa would whisper sweet nothings to her in the heart of the thunder outside.
