Hyun's POV
"Please.. I want us to have a date, Choi Sun Hyun."
The guy offered me the bouquet of flowers he was holding in his hands. I looked away before staring directly to the guy's face. I scanned him from his head to his long legs as I sighed. I extended my hand to accept the flowers he gave me. I saw his lip rose because of happiness.
"I would rather accept this than to have a date with you." I exclaimed. He lowered his head after hearing my reply. "I never dated anyone and I will never unless I liked that person." I continued thinking about Jake.
"Can you do it as a favor, then?" he smiled awkwardly.
I arched a brow. "What are you saying? I don't even know you."
I held the bouquet tightly to fight against the urge of getting pissed off. I had a hard time convincing my self that there will be no 'me' involved to this booth our class made but I was totally right. I poured plenty of efforts on working to make the tickets just to be in this kind of situation.
Are they going to use me?
"Chi Shin Chul," the guy introduced himself. I chuckled sarcastically. "That's my name."
"Are you out of your mind?" I could hear the sound the stem of the flowers created as they are snapping one by one. I couldn't control my temper and dropped the bouquet on the floor.
His eyes landed on the bouquet he bought for me. I rolled my eyes at him when he kneeled to pick it up. He stood back on his feet, shifting his gaze to me. Then, we stared at each other.
"Shin Chul," he bit his lower lip when I called his name waiting for me to continue. "I never dated anyone other than my first love. And, I will never date someone I don't like." I continued.
"Please, I want to spend some time with you. I like you–"
"I like someone else." I muttered. "If I date you, you'll expect something more than that. False hopes could kill you, I'd say." I walked past him but he held my arm pulling me to face him.
"How many times do I have to beg?" he glared at me as he tightened his grip on my arm. "I'm asking you nicely— can't you just–"
He landed on the floor with a blood on the side of his lips. I jolted when a hand pulled me. I lifted my head and saw Ni-ki in front of me. I was facing his back as he confronted the guy.
