A Rational Approach

You didn't believe me when I said I'm in love with you,
so I wanted to tell you why, but I'm not good with emotional cues
and the unwritten rules just escape me, hence
I'll convince you with rational arguments:

There are little sounds as pleasing as your singing voice
with the excellent reverberation the shower provides.
The chances of me dancing are almost non-existént,
but if you're on the floor they increase by 57%.

You are so excited when you talk about that passion of yours,
your voice speeds up and your gesturing grows.
Objectively I don't care as I've heard it before,
but when you're explaining I'll always ask for one sentence more.

Upon seeing you my brain releases more serotonin than on average days
and your smell stimulates my scent nerves in just the right ways.
I don't like touching people, but I'll hug you once in a while,
and I noticed myself smiling whenever you smile.

I could go on, but I think you're seeing the point.
I just always prefer to do things when you join,
so I don't quite understand how I couldn't love it all
since me loving you has only ever been logical.
