POV: Tony
The kid didn't seem to be too crazy freaked out. He put on his suit's helmet, but didn't really fit the actual suit part. I told him to just drop it and he left it pushed against the wall in a hallway.
"What's happening, Mr. Stark?" He asked, the noise loud from the helmet speaker. I shrugged.
"Don't know, kid. Random robbery?" I said, turning down my volume slightly. Power wasn't exactly to the max, but it was over 50% so I didn't worry about it.
"Right near Avenger's tower? Does that happen all the time? Are we going to be on the news, Mr. Stark?"
"I- I don't know, kid," I admitted, hearing more car alarms and running faster.
"What- Holy crap-"
"Oh, [bleep]." I stared out the windows to the street below, where some people looking suspiciously like HYDRA was wrecking pretty much everything they felt like. "Kid, we're going to the roof. Can the webs stick to glass?"
He shot one at the window and it stuck. I just pulled him along up to the roof. The wind whipped the noise of chaos away, but I still heard car alarms and crashing. I turned the suit rockets on, got used to them for a second and flew down there, where Steve and Clint were already trying to get the massive thing under control.
"Where'd you leave the kid?" Steve yelled, trying to advance on them with his shield. They keep dodging, annoyingly. The moment they do they'll smash another car window too.
"He's coming, don't worry," I said, trying to turn it away from the row of cars on the side of the street. Then, right on cue, webs hit the side of the building and Peter swung down onto the side of it, still wearing his sweatshirt and jeans. At least he's keeping the mask on.
"Mr. Stark! Hey, who are you?" He yelled, webbing someone to the ground. In a moment, though, they were able to break the webbing. "I don't think the webs are strong enough yet, Mr. Stark!"
"What are you doing here?" Steve asked, lowering his shield for a second and looking at the kid like he was doing something horribly wrong.
"He's helping." I said, knocking one dude out with a tuned-down blaster.
"Helping?"  Steve repeated, staring at me.
"Let the Spiderling help," Thor put in, having just showed up, zapping a couple people unconscious.
"What do I shoot with these? It's not working, Mr. Stark!" Peter said, frantically shooting everything with webs.
"Shoot the unconscious ones," Clint shouted from his sniper perch somewhere. "Unless you want me to kill it, which might be a problem with the cars getting blown up."
"Unconscious ones, okay! On it, Mr. Hawk!" Peter called. "Mr. Thor, can you do chain lightning?"
"Pretty sure that's a level ten spell," I muttered, even though everyone ignored me. Except Peter.
"What are we supposed to do, then?" Peter shouted. The people still said nothing.
"Knock em out or tie em up, kid," I said, actually loudly.
"Of course today's the day I'm out of taser arrows," Clint says, reaching back in his quiver.
"Is no one prepared?" I asked, and no one said anything. "Come on. Just knock them all out, that's literally all we need to do."
"It looks familiar, but I don't quite remember where I've seen them," Thor said, blocking their advance on some parked cars with a zap of lightning.
"HYDRA, I think," I replied.
"Mr. Thor, chain lightning would really help, I think ," Peter said.
"Dudes, can I just blast them?" I asked, powering up laser beams. "It won't matter, right?"
"Tony, those lasers blew up a robot sky fish," Steve pointed out. I turned.
"From its guts, not from the outside. Plus, so?"
"These vehicles are in the way," Thor said, continuing to shield everything with lightning.
"Knock em out, someone?" I said, except for some reason everyone was unable to do so. They all were pretty good at dodging.
"Kid, put a cage around it," I said, through the suit's communication system.
"On it, Mr. Stark," he said, sounding determined and serious, absolutely different than how he'd been all the other times. Interesting.
"What do I do? I can't shoot it," Clint shouted. "I just have stupid bomb arrows."
"Find everyone else!" I yelled, noting the absence of Natasha and Bruce. Of course Bruce wouldn't be much help, but I did have another iron man suit somewhere. In my lab.
Where Loki is right now.
Oh man oh man oh man.
"Jarvis please tell me something," I said into the suit.
"Well Loki got the webs off and is currently begging me to unlock the door," he said, not bothered by the chaos unfolding. "Should I let him out, sir?"
"Does he have a weapon?" I asked, trying to not freak out. Man, blasting HYDRA would be so much easier than everything else...
"No, sir. The door's been unlocked for a while now, he just keeps banging on it. I must say, it's fun to watch."
"Okay, Jarvis. Great. Yeah, let him go. I mean, tell him it's unlocked. Just make sure he doesn't find any weapons."
"Yes, sir."
"Is it working?" Peter asked, having successfully webbed up most of the cars and most of the building entrances. I shrugged.
"Uh... nice work, kid. You're going to need practice."
"Noted, Mr. Stark."
"Wait!" Someone yelled, the door to Avenger's tower opening with a bang. I turned. Loki. Of course.
"Must you, brother?" Thor yelled annoyedly. Loki gave him a fiery look.
"I'm going to help you."
