-Note: So I know basically nothing about Bruce and Natasha so I'm going to say their busy hanging out with Vision and the twins somewhere and they'll all be introduced later, when I feel like it and I know what they're like and stuff.

Also, this may turn into random one-shots after the overarching plot is done.

POV: Peter

Board game night has to have been about the best idea ever. Mr. Thor and Loki literally don't even know what a board game is, and Mr. Stark literally doesn't have any and had to get some delivered, which he had to convince me was fine about eighty times. Plus, it would help dispel the chaos happening with HYDRA. Honestly, I'm surprised they apparently come to New York. Anyways, board games. I had to promise everyone something for playing, because everyone's busy all the time apparently.

To Mr. Stark I promised a full explanation of my powers, to Cap I told him some pop culture references, mostly star wars, to Mr. Clint I promised a relaying of his coolness to my friends, to Thor I said I'd call him Uncle Thor, and Loki... I didn't actually have to bribe him.  Jarvis apparently was playing, too, which I guess would work because of Mr. Stark's tech stuff everywhere.

"Okay. So. Board game night," I said, when everyone was all sitting down at a random table Tony and I moved up from his lab. "We all pick a game and whoever wins the most gets to be supreme ruler and King of board games."

Loki glanced at Thor in a kind of look that I knew as communication. I grinned.

"Anyone want to pick first?"

"You pick first, kid. It's your idea," Mr. Stark said, pressing a couple buttons that make all the boxes pop up. A stack of board games, including Monopoly which I'm pretty sure would not end well. I chose a little kiddie version of clue, just because it was short and easy to learn.

"Okay. Anyone want to read the instructions?" I said, grabbing the paper and holding it out to everyone. Even just the first few sentences are totally cringe, but what do you expect from a kiddie clue game?

"I can," Loki says, taking it from me. He reads the first few lines with a discerning look that almost makes me laugh, knowing what they say: Mr. Plumpert's prized pot pies have gone missing. "Everyone, listen. Clint. Get off your phone."

Mr. Clint looked up, sighed, and put his phone down on the table. Loki waited a few seconds before beginning. This was going to be hilarious.

"The tesseract has been stolen from Asgard, and you are burdened with glorious purpose to find the culprit and put an end to their mortal state-"

"Loki, there are children present!" Thor interrupted, terrified. I tried so hard not to laugh.

"Fine. To find the culprit and lock them up for the rest of their lives. Is that better? Probably more accurate? Anyways, to do so you must roll the dice and match the symbols, or the suspect runs down the little path and if he gets to the end you lose. But young Peter, how do you win this game?"

"By guessing who it is right. I assume. What's it say?" I said, still laughing inside.

"Well, it says you win when find someone who matches with all three icons, but you share information, so..."

"Hold up, we're playing team games now?" Steve said, grabbing for the instructions. Loki pulled it away and Steve accidentally smacked the table.

"Honestly, you all probably need it," Jarvis noted. "It's Peter's pick, so... yes, we're playing team games."

"It says the youngest player goes first," Loki added, setting down the holo-instructions.

"Yay," I said, and picked up dice with only two symbols. Nothing like getting the Avengers to play kiddie clue with you, including two you now call your uncles.

"So, they don't match, roll again," Mr. Stark said, glancing at the instructions. I rolled twice more and he looked again. "Now we move the little fox three spaces..."

"You know what? The token looks boring," Loki said, waving his fingers as green smoke shifted itself into a little horned helmet on the hologram fox's head. Thor nudged his shoulder.

"Must you, brother?"

"Fine, fine, I'll change the other pieces too," Loki said, and within five seconds all the little tokens looked like one of the avengers. It was kind of adorable, to be honest.

"Hold up I want to take a picture-" I said, reaching for my phone in my pocket.

"Loki, take it off," Clint said, shaking his head.

"No, keep it on it's awesome!" I said. Everyone turned to look at me.

"Wait, what?" Loki said, while Thor glanced down at his token.

"Do- Do you not think it's awesome? We all have our own game pieces and that's not awesome?" I said, gesturing to all the cute little illusion-hologram things. Mine was smaller than the others.

"Well I wouldn't mind having one too," Jarvis said. Loki gave the last piece a top hat, shrugging

"I mean, I don't exactly know what you look like, so-"

"Wait, do you do this kind of thing all the time?" I asked everyone, ignoring the dice and the game now.

"What, do cool things that everyone hates because I'm me?" Loki asked, looking back at the pieces. He messes with the fox's helmet a little bit.

"I mean..." Mr. Stark said, coughing once. I stared at everyone.

"Why are you all so mean?"

"Spiderling, I didn't-"

"Kid, he tried to take over the world!" Mr. Stark said, leaving Loki looking uncomfortable. Didn't he say he liked to be the bad guy?

"You know who else tried to take over the world, Mr. Stark? A lot of people," I said. "One of them was Ultron which, if I remember from class, was your invention. No one hates you!"

"A lot of people hate me, kid. Look, we don't know what the heck Loki's going to do, so we can't exactly-"

"Actually, young Peter has a point," Loki said, crossing his arms. "Why are you not allowed to appreciate this?"

"Brother, let's simply play the game," Thor said, putting his hand on Loki's shoulder. "Honestly, the illusions are wonderful."

Loki just looked at him, losing his emotion.

"Fine," he shrugged, grabbing the dice. "Can I pick a game next?"

"Just roll the dice, Loki," Clint said, tapping the table. "We're all going to be glad when it's over."
