Note: help. IDK what HYDRA I'm writing. Vans? Really? I guess this is some weird AIM-HYDRA kinda thing but for plot reasons it has to be HYDRA. Bear with me, people. Thanks.

POV: Peter

I pull on my mask, ready to help, but I turn the corner to find three HYDRA agents, laser guns pulsing with electricity.

"Hey, put your hands up!" One of them said, aiming his at me. I did, subtly shooting a web to cover the laser part.

Somehow, one of them caught the front, pulling me forward. I tripped onto the ground, and they kicked me forward so the webs wrapped around my arms tight, pinning them to my sides. I scrambled to my feet against the wall just in time to see him take out a pocketknife and cut the webs from his hand. Where was this guy the other day?

"Don't you dare let him escape," he muttered to the other two. I began inching my way up the wall with my palms and feet.

"Roger that, Ke-"

"Shut up," one rookie said to the one who was talking, elbowing him hard in the ribs. "Woah."

He aimed his gun at me, now up to the corner where the walls and ceiling intersect.

"Don't shoot. He has skills," the pro said, squinting at me. "I have business to take care of."

He stalked off down the hall. The moment he turned the corner, the other two started bickering.

"Don't say our names!" The taller one said, gesturing to me.

"So? They're probably going to brainwash him!" The other exclaimed. I stayed silent and still.

"Don't say that either! He's right here!"

"Well if you don't stop talking, someone's going to hear!"

"Then we'll shoot them!"

"Look, I'm higher rank than you, so I'm in charge!"

"Just because you've been here longer doesn't mean you're higher rank! We're both just foot soldiers!"

"Okay, how about this? The next time you talk, we're putting spiderdude here in charge!"

I didn't respond to that, and neither did the HYDRA agent.

"That goes for you too, right?" he asked after a few seconds. The other one blew up at him.

"You absolute @$#$%&! idiot!"

"What'd I-"

"The. Hostage. In. Charge. Us. Fired. Dead. Not. Good."

I smoothly, secretly move my wrists into a position to shoot them. I get one shot.

"You were serious?"

"I had to be! I can't start joking with you without acciden-"

I webbed their mouths shut, followed by rapid fire bindings around their arms and legs. I jumped down from the ceiling, managing to slip out of the webbing with the help of a doorknob.

"I'm in charge," I said dramatically, "So you're coming with me."

"Nice job, Spiderling," Loki said, watching from a doorway. When had he gotten here? "I must say, I'm impressed."

"Were you going to help?" I asked, disguising my voice a little bit for the security cameras.

"If you needed it," he replied, twirling his kitchen knife. Was that blood? He noticed my face and stopped."Don't worry, they're not dead."

"Are we-"

"Stark and the others got rid of the rest of them. This place has guards, even if Barton forgot. Needless to say, they don't trust me too much, so we need to get back to the tower..."

"Okay. Let me just-"I webbed the two guys to the wall.

"Ooh, daggers. Can you not tell anyone? I promise I won't stab anyone-" he said, taking their pocket knifes from their belts. The HYDRA agents glared at each other, communicating lots of insults and blaming the other.

"Let's go," I said, deciding not to consent to anything. Loki unsummoned the pocket-knifes in a flash of green light and followed me back through the hallways. The pro who webbed me up was on the ground in a pool of blood.

"Mr. LoKi!?!?!?" I said, stopping to web up his wound. "This dude was going to die if you just left him there!!"

"I'm... sorry?" he replied, watching me web the poor guy to the wall. "I wasn't aware that Midgardian wounds didn't heal-"

"You just got to wrap them up," I explained frantically, showing him. "If you stop the bleeding it heals pretty good usually, unless it's a chest wound but-"

"So to you every kitchen knife does as much damage as a cursed blade," he reasoned. I shrugged.

"I guess so? Anyway, they'll be fine now. Just- if they pass out then you have to wrap up the wound."

"Alright, Spiderling. I'll try and remember," he said. "Anyway, we're-"

An orange-sparked portal fizzes to life right next to me.

"Oh, hi Mr. Dr. Strange sir!" I said. He gave me a tired look before turning to Loki, completely exasperated and sick of this crap.

"What did I do this time?" Loki asked, absolutely ignoring the mood of the room.

"Just- You need to go back to the tower, right?" Dr. Strange said, rune circles flickering in front on his hands. "I'll portal you there, and you won't run off, and you'll stop trying to make my life difficult by making me on my guard all the time because you. keep. leaving."

"I don't understand why that's such a terrible problem. I told you it was all Ultron, right? Plus the taser-tracker-"

"Just work with me, okay?" he interrupted, rubbing the bridge of his nose. His cloak wrapped around his shoulders tightly. "I don't trust you-"

"Smart," Loki remarked, earning himself an irritated glare.

"So I just want to make sure someone can keep an eye on you."

"I don't count?" I asked.

"You will in a year or two," Dr. Strange said, opening a portal to the Avengers Tower living room. "Here you are, you're welcome."

"Thanks Dr. Strange sir!" I replied, but somehow I see myself walk through the portal. I looked around, but the portal closed and Dr. Strange went back to the sanctum.

"You alright, Spiderling?" Loki asked, becoming visible next to me.

"What-"

"Just illusions. I figured we could have some fun on the way back, pretend there was a whole thing with the HYDRA agents..." he explained, shrugging.

"Like... what?" I asked, worried that Dr. Strange will be mad if he finds out.

"I don't know. You could just show me whatever you want, since I've never actually been around here besides trying to invade it-"

"Oh, okay," I said, allowing myself a smile. "That sounds fun, Mr. Loki."

"Great," he said, beaming. "Lead the way."

Two chapters reasonably close together??? WHAT???? That never happens! Feel free to request things especially since now that I've introduced a lot of characters I could work them in.
