I pull on the rope to redirect the boat. I walk towards Hiccup and gently pick up Nuffink. Our 5 year old son. I turn to look at Zephyr who hugs my waist. I smile softly at her and gently caress her head.
I turn to look at the distance. My mind is filled with tons of memories from when we were younger. The memory which consists of my best-friend.
I let out a gasp when I notice movements. Hiccup also stares at the direction where I'm staring. A smile starts to form on my face. I jump a little when the ship starts to sway as Toothless lands on the ship across from us.
"Hey, bud..." Hiccup said. He turns to look at me for a brief seconds before focusing his attention towards his best-friend. "Remember me?" He asked. I hold my kids closer, assuring them that everything is okay.
Toothless takes one sniff at Hiccup. His eyes dilated as he jumps on Hiccup who let out a yelp. I let out a giggle as he starts to jump around Hiccup happily.
"Hey, I am glad to see you too, bud!" Hiccup said. I can hear the happiness in his tone. Toothless nudges him out of excitement, making him fall on his back. "How's the tail holding up?" He asked.
"It's okay... he's not going to eat your father" I said, to my kids. I turn to look at Toothless who keeps licking Hiccup. "Look, they're friends" I said, trying to calm the kids. But they still looks scared.
Toothless finally turns his attention towards us and tilts his head. Hiccup smiles softly. "Come on..." he said, gesturing Zephyr and Nuffink to come closer to him. They look scared and tense. I let out a soft giggle and gently give them a push.
"Go on... it's alright" I said. They cautiously approach Hiccup. I just smile softly as I watch our kids try to greet the Night Fury.
"Hold your hand out... like this" he said, lifting their hands, positioning them. Toothless stares at their hands. "Let him come to you..." he said. Zephyr and Nuffink nervously holds their stance.
Toothless slowly closes his eyes, leaning forward to place his hands on theirs. I watch as a look of excitement and awe spread across my kids face. I close my eyes and let out a soft giggle. I turn to look at the sky and gasp softly when I notice something flying above us.
Hey, Y/N... a familiar voice echos in my head. Tears starts to form in my eyes. I quickly stands up and use my magic to fly towards her. I gently hug her neck, burying my face into her scale.
"I miss you, D/N..." I said. Tears starts to stream down my cheeks. She leans her head down, curling on my back as a respond to the embrace. I tighten my arms around her. I really miss my best friend.
I miss you too, Y/N... I see you're still as strong as ever as a sorceress she said. A smile forms on my face at what she said. I let out a soft giggle and pull away.
I lean my forehead against her nose. "I'm so happy to see you again..." I said. She gently licks my cheek, making me giggle at the ticklish sensation. I wipe my cheek to clean it from the saliva.
"Mom? You can fly???" Someone said. I turn my head to see Zephyr. She and her brother stares at me with their eyes wide. I turn to look at Hiccup and giggles. I move to land on the boat.
"Yeah... I haven't been using it much. Sorry, kids. But your mother here is a sorceress. I can use magic. Oh, and..." I said. I focus on my magic and transform myself into my dragon form.

I let out a laugh at their reaction. I land on the boat and gesture them to get on my back. Zephyr turn to look at her brother, who shrugs. The two of them excitedly gets on my back.
"Hold on tight..." I said. I soar up into the sky. Hiccup quickly gets on Toothless's back. He follows in suit as we fly across the sky. Our kids laughs gleefully as we fly in the air.
A While Later
I get on D/N after letting Zephyr get on her back and Nuffink on Toothless with Hiccup. I smile softly as I enjoy the breeze. I miss this so much.
I can fly on my own, but that wouldn't be fair for the others because I know they miss their dragon friends too. So I try not to, for the sake of their feelings. But now that I'm finally able to experience this again... I'm so happy.
We land on the ground. I lean my back against D/N as Zephyr sits next to me, while Nuffink sits next to Hiccup as they lean on Toothless. I smile softly as I pet D/N's scaled body.
"I'm so happy to see you back, D/N..." I said. She turn her head to face me. She gently licks my cheek, making me smile. I gently pat her head affectionately.
"So, mama... can you tell us how you gained your magic power?" Zephyr said. Nuffink nods his head in agreement as the two of them stares at me eagerly. I turn to look at Hiccup. He gives me a nod, encouraging me to tell our kids our history when we were younger. I smile softly at him and turn to our kids.
"There were dragons when your father and I were kids..." I said. Hiccup joins in the story telling. I smile softly at him as we continue to tell the stories for our kids, as they listen to us eagerly.
"Until one day, D/N comes and take me to their world. The Hidden World. Where she told me that I was the chosen one. I learned that I'm a sorceress and the Dragon Princess..." I said. Our kids let out a gasp as they stare at me in awe. I let out a giggle and turn to look at Hiccup. He smiles at me and turn to the kids.
"Legend says that when the ground quakes, or lava spews from the earth, it's the dragons, letting us know they're still here, waiting for us to figure out how to get along. Yes, the world believes the dragons are gone, if they ever existed at all. But we Berkians, we know otherwise" he said. I smile softly as I stare at him. He turns to me and smiles. He gently holds my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. I turn to look at D/N. I smile softly at her and gently pat her nose.
Even though some people believe that the dragons were gone and that they might not exists to begin with. We know they are... and we'll protect their secrets. Until the day where they can return in peace.
