Forced to move (glad I did) Ziggy Katz X Will Byers

Chapter 3 - School

    It is Tuesday, the first day of school and Ziggy is looking for his long sleeve t-shirt with his cat head logo on the front.  Ziggy found it in the back of his closet and put it on.  Ziggy thought that he should of got his clothes ready last night instead of trying to write a new song when his mom was yelling at Ziggy to get moving.  Who was he kidding, song writing is always more important.

    "Ziggy are you ready, we have to leave."

    "Yeah mom, give me 2 minutes." 

    Ziggy learned his lesson in Bloomington when he would tell his mom give me 5 seconds and his mom would actually time him and then leave.  Now he gives longer times so he doesn't get left. 

    "I am ready to go now.  Do you know where the school is?"  Ziggy is being difficult to push his mom's buttons.

    "Gee if I didn't know any better I would say you want to ride the bus.  Since it is the first day I will give you a ride."

    "Thanks mom for caring."

    Ziggy was getting a ride to school but he didn't bring his guitar like he normally would.  He will see how the day goes before he decides to bring it in the future.  He doesn't want some overly juiced up mouthbreather  breaking his pride and joy just to make some statement.

    Ziggy was in front of his new school and my gosh it looks like a storage building compared to his old school.  Hopefully things go better today then he thinks they could go.

    Will was eating breakfast that his mom made while he was waiting for Jane to get ready for school.  Usually back in 9th grade in Lenora Hills Jane would be waiting for Will but now it was reversed.  Will was recollecting back to this weekend when his mom and him were designing new kitchen towels for his mom's business.  When he came back from Mike's house Joyce was surprised that Will was home.  In the past Will would come up with some excuse to not tell anybody what really happened, but now he told his mom that Mike kicked him out of his house and called him a liar.  Joyce didn't know what to make of it so she just changed the subject to kitchen towel design. 

    Will noticed lately that if you selectively tell the truth right away not many questions come afterwards, unlike before where his I'm fine, everything is fine spiel would get attacked from all sides until the truth eventually came out. 

    Will also enjoyed his dinner with Steve and Robin in Jackson.  Will told them of his encounter with the Party and they couldn't believe they wouldn't allow Will to explain himself and instead kicked him out after Jane tried to reason with them.  Robin was quite upset and said she will be bringing the big guns to mediate this conflict (big guns are initials NW Will thinks). 

    On Sunday Jane apologized to Will about the groups behavior and she wanted to know why Will entered the upside down during the Vecna attack.  To answer her question he needs to talk to Mike to clear up some issues but since Mike won't talk to Will he can't answer anyone's questions or give a satisfactory explanation to the Party.

    "Come on Jane we need to get going before we are late."

    "Coming Will."

    Will drove Jane to school with 5 minutes to spare.  Will was a Senior this year while Jane was a Junior due to her repeating 9th grade.  Max was also a Junior due to her coma so Jane had one person she knows in her class not counting her cheerleading squad participants.  Since Will was a new student he went to the front office to get his schedule.  Will was sent to homeroom section A due to his last name being in the first 13 letters of the alphabet.  Good news was that Lucas and Mike were in section B so at least Will didn't have to put up with them.
