Forced to move (glad I did) Ziggy Katz X Will Byers

Chapter 18 - Ziggy, oh Ziggy where are you?

Will missed Ziggy already and it was only 2 weeks.  To take his mind off of his dilemma, Will buried himself into his computer coding.  Will consulted Zebra and Will was making a program to let people make art and crude avatars (like the Nintendo Wii) but he was dealing with the limitations of his computer.  Will was figuring out how to overcome these limitations but it took time.

Will only gotten a 2 minute phone call from Ziggy since he moved to Portland.  Ziggy was busy with the band and didn't have either time or money to talk to Will as much as he would of.  Will knew this would happen but he knows he has to go through this long season of being alone. 

The one good thing to come out of this is that Jane and Mike are very supportive of Will and his feelings.  The two always invite him to hang out or do things.  Will likes this attention but feels very guilty that he is intruding on Jane's time with her boyfriend.  He told her on more than one occasion that she needs to spend more one-on-one time with Mike.  Jane usually throws her hand forward and a sound comes through her lips like a fake fart saying don't worry about it.  When Jane shared this concern with Mike he was even more adamant that they spend time together. 

"Will, why are you feeling guilty?  El and I spend a lot of time together, we both want to spend time with you.  If we feel you are intruding we will let you know.  Right now get dressed because we are going to the movies tonight."  Mike raised his eyebrows at Will telling him to challenge me on this, I dare you.

"Ok Mike I would love to go.  I just don't want to strain your relationship with Jane.  I would like it if you two married each other and I don't want to ruin that."  Mike snorted.

"I am glad you want me around Byers.  If you don't do what El and I want you to do we won't get married.  Basically you will be doing what we want you to do if you want your dream to come true."  Will heard Jane ask Mike what he was talking about and Mike told her. 

"Mike is right Will.  We will be in charge of your schedule now."  Mike had a cocky grin directed at Will.  "You will be spending a lot of time with Mike and I so get used to it.  Bye Hun, I have to get ready."  Jane landed a kiss on Mike's temple before she went to her bedroom.

"Ok, I will go get ready."  Will knew he was going to be a part of their lives this summer.

It was the end of July and Will was preparing to go to Seattle to attend the University of Washington.  Jane and Mike threw a fit when he was going to move out there but Will wanted to see Ziggy again and try to get their relationship back on track.  Mike and Jane thought he should stay in Indiana and find a new man.

"What are your plans tonight, Will?"  Jane was sitting on his bed looking at Will expectedly.

"I was going to go to the restaurant to eat and then sketch in the park until dark.  I haven't done that in a while."

"Why don't you stay with Mike and I and watch the movie with us.  He will bring extra food if I ask."  Jane held Will's left arm with both of hers  and rubbed over the top of the forearm with her hand.

"I don't want to impose.  I think with just us at home that Mike and yourself would like some alone time."  Will hoped that Jane figured out what he was implying.

"We spent 3 nights alone this week.  Mike is worried about you pulling away.  We both have a better time when you are around."  Jane looked him in the eyes while hers expressed concern.

"I appreciate you two wanting to include me so much, but you probably want some alone time for intimacy and me being there will ruin it for you two.  I am not pulling away I swear.  I just want you to be happy.  I just need some alone time right now."  Will hoped Jane would get the hint.
