Chapter 2 : Brutal

**Lucas' POV**

I ran toward the mansion and saw Xenon come out of the door.

"Xen! I know where they put the girls," I hurriedly stated. "I already called Coby and Adrian. They're on their way here."

He nodded. "Lead the way." He motioned to the car as we walked faster and got inside. Not long after, Coby and Adrian sat in the back with the guns.

Everything was set, so I drove away.

"Where are they?" Coby asked when he recognized we were in the forest behind the buildings.

"A student saw the van drive toward here... and I think I know where." My voice was plainly serious.

"It's the way toward one of the old buildings..." Adrian murmured.

"That's right; they won't let the captives far from the facility, so it's the only place they can hide the girls," I explained.

"Oh shit! You're right! Why didn't I think about it earlier?" Coby exclaimed the moment he understood what I meant.

Xenon seemed to be spacing out. What might he be thinking right now? We stopped at an old building and got out of the car.

"What the heck!" Coby exclaimed.

"Why?" I looked to where he was pointing and was shocked to see two dead men lying on the ground near the door, covered in blood...

My body shivered.

"Who the hell did this? It's too brutal..." Adrian said to no one. It was really brutal! Some of their body parts were cut!

"Uno," Xenon mumbled while looking into the far distance. I turned toward it. Ten meters away from us, a man lay on the ground with an arrow through his heart, and at the top of the arrow was a symbol of a black ribbon.

"Motherfucker!" Coby cursed, and we ran toward the door.

Uno... The Silencer must be the strongest, killing in just a second so that a person can't even feel pain. But... Uno is the legendary gangster known as the most brutal fighter, killing in a brutal way without conscience. Uno is the leader of the Scorpio Gang, known as the strongest gang a year and a half ago, but they stopped for an unknown reason, and no one ever heard of them fighting again in battle or action. That's why I was shocked when Uno saved me last time...

If possible, I didn't want to meet Uno. I kill, but not the way Uno kills. We opened the door and saw a number of girls facing us from a distance.

"Je-Jenna...?" Adrian mumbled while looking at a specific girl beside Drena.

We all ran toward them, but I couldn't stop looking at the surroundings. Dead people were lying on the ground, blood flowing out of their bodies... the way they were killed, I'm pretty sure it was Uno.

"Claire, are you okay? What happened to you? What did they do to you?" Xenon asked Claire in worry while taking off his jacket and covering her when he saw her wearing sleeveless and her checkered shirt wrapped around her shoulders.

"I'm totally fine," she answered.

"A-Adrian..." The girl beside Drena stated weakly while looking at Adrian, who was wearing mixed emotions.

"Thank goodness! Oh, Jenna." Adrian pulled Jenna into a hug, filled with worry and gladness. I saw Drena watching them with a smile on her face.

"Are you okay?" Coby asked Cassy, his eyes filled with concern.

"I'm fine." She gave a lovely smile.

"I'm out of the world again," I mumbled. Oh, Stella, when can I see you again? After she kissed me last time, she started avoiding me, maybe out of embarrassment. So cute, but it hurts. Aish!

"What happened? How did this happen?" Coby suddenly asked, referring to the lifeless men lying on the ground, which turned my attention to him.

"Uno killed them..." Cassy answered, her head hanging low.

"Uno saved us." Claire immediately added, which caught all of our attention.

"What!?" Coby and Adrian exclaimed in shock. Saved...? Why would Uno save them? Uno does not have a conscience to save someone not related unless...

"Where is Uno, then?" I asked.

"Wait—Uno did all of this!?" Coby's face was unexplainable.

"It's not just that; even the second floor is shed with blood and dead men," one of the girls with an unidentified name, who must also have been kidnapped, stated.

"No way..." Adrian murmured, his arm already circling around Drena's waist.

"It is possible. Uno is legendarily known as the most brutal fighter in history," Xenon said.

"But how did Uno get here?" Adrian asked desperately for an answer.

The girls were silent. What were they hiding? "Can anyone answer me, where is Uno?" I asked, becoming more desperate for an answer. I may not like meeting Uno, but I don't know why... something is pulling me to know Uno and to meet him in person.

Instead of answering, the girls except Claire looked at the back, and then I saw... my girl.

"S... Stella?" Mixed emotions overwhelmed me. From gladness turned to worry, concern, and fear. I couldn't decipher; I think I'm lost.

"Do you know her, dude?" Coby asked, confused, but I ignored him and walked faster toward her. I held her left... bloody hand. "What happened to you? Are you okay? How did you get here? Did they also kidnap you?" I scanned her whole body but found neither scars nor bruises, and then... everything sank in as fear enveloped me, this time, fear for the truth.

My innocent, lovely girl was wearing a bloody uniform and fully armed with two swords hanging on her back and an archer in her right hand. It was not just a simple archer but the three-headed archer!

"Who... who are y-you?" I stuttered, asking. Her head hung low.

"I-I'm sorry, Lucas," she stated softly, her voice barely audible.

"We need to go," Claire said, loud enough to be heard by everyone.

"It's time. We have to run away," Xenon added.

We all nodded. The others had already walked out, and I faced Stella, who couldn't even look at me. "You better tell me later; I have the right to know," I stated, this time unable to help but let my voice turn cold.

She suddenly looked up, and our eyes met. Her face was too cute and innocent, but in reality, I didn't know this girl. Before I could lose myself once again and be tainted by her, I turned my back and walked out.
