** Venice Claire's POV **

I felt uneasy with every passing second, which is why, after five hours of waiting in Xenon's house, after the boys went to the Martinez Grey Academy, we followed them and waited outside the campus instead.

I, along with the girls, was prepared for our battle; however, we left Jenna at the house. She couldn't be with us, or she'd make things worse.

I wore my Silencer outfit, while Drena and Cassy donned their gear, each holding a gun in both hands.

At 8:40 PM, Coby called Cassy, saying he was completely well with a man named Manny, but the rest had been caught.

The moment I heard that the boys were caught, my heart began beating erratically.

"Claire. Manny wants to talk to you." Cassy handed me the phone, and I could see the pain and sadness on their faces. I took the phone.

"Yes?" I stated blankly.

"Master—" Manny started, but he was cut off.

"Why are you calling Claire, Master?" Coby asked defiantly.

"Will you shut up!?" Manny scolded. "Oh, forgive me, Master. All of the men were caught except us. We are hiding right now inside a building... because I knew and I have faith you will come. I heard them say Marco will arrive at exactly 9:30 PM. More than a hundred of his men are surrounding the place, so it is difficult to make a move," Manny explained.

"We're coming. Prepare for another battle," I stated, ending the call without waiting for a response. Just as I finished, Uno returned after going inside the campus to spy earlier.

"Good, just the right time. Spill it," I said plainly, looking at her in an all-black suit, wearing jeans, a tank top, and a leather jacket with two swords on her back and a quiver of three-headed arrows on her shoulder. I smirked; she was a warrior ready for a bloody battle.

"Martin, Ricky, and the rest of the men are jailed in the underground cells. The Blue Fire Gang and the Insigma Fighters are tied up in the gym. More than a hundred people are surrounding the place, and the snipers are hiding on the rooftop, but I have killed some of them." She shrugged as if it were an easy catch. "And oh, Erica was also in there. Idiots, they think she could kill me." She laughed like an evil bitch.

Erica is the leader of the Poloris Gang, known as the strongest gang, which was the position of the Scorpio Gang before. Since they chose me to be their master, they lost the title of being the strongest and it was given to the Poloris Gang for their great achievements. But Erica and her gang felt insecure, as if the position was given to them by default; they wanted people to know that they had defeated the Scorpio Gang, and Erica was greedy to defeat Uno.

"Seems like you've already taken care of her," I said.

"Not really, I just gave her a blow that made her fall into a deep slumber," she explained, her tone one of boredom.

Tch. "Any signs of hidden bombs?" I asked.

"Yes, but they have already been deactivated. They must have been so confident that they've won," she stated with evident irritation.

Just as I expected.

I faced the girls. "Girls! Stick to the plan," I ordered, and they nodded. Uno and I started walking toward the gate but were suddenly stopped.

"Where the hell are you going?"

We looked up at the wall to see Zoey sitting on it, wearing a black hooded jacket while holding an arrow in her hand, clearly ready for battle. "Do you think you can join a great adventure without me, cousin?" Tch.

"Suit yourself," I said, and she smirked.

"Good." Zoey smiled sweetly. "But before you go, I just wanted to remind you, my dearest cousin, that as the Heiress of the Dark World, you should set aside your feelings, or... you might lose him." Her sweet smile turned evil. "Careful, Mr. Giovanni is keeping an eye on you."

I ignored her and walked toward the gate once again, followed by Uno. When we reached it, wearing these attires, we attracted the attention of the enemies as expected.

"Enjoy," I stated to Uno, seeing a number of men approaching us.

She smirked. "Oh, I will," and the battle began.

I started firing my silencer guns—10 bullets, 10 enemies dropped in seconds. As bullets flew past me, it felt like slow motion, trying to pierce my skin, but I dodged them by jumping and twisting in the air while still firing my guns.

Watching Uno kill was like a simple task for her; she used her two swords to slash anyone within reach. Meanwhile, Zoey sat prettily atop the Math Building, aiming her arrows at her prey.

The enemies were increasing in number, and as we had planned, we attracted them to death while shooting at the throng. I heard the sound of a gun being triggered aimed directly at me, so before it could hit me, I ducked and shot the person who threw it. I jumped and ran from one side to another, my hands busy shooting from right to left, never taking my eyes off the targets.

But I could see Cassy and Drena heading towards where Manny and Coby were located.

I let them handle the prisoners.

"Uno, I'll go first. I will leave them to you," I said.

"My pleasure," she smirked, and when I looked at Zoey, she gave a salute. Tch.

While running toward the gym, I kept shooting anyone I could see—the guy on my right and the guy in front. They raised their guns, but before they could aim perfectly at me, I shot them both in the head with my silencer guns. What a bunch of morons. They stood no chance against my speed, and I continued running.

The moment I reached the doorway of the gym, my blood started boiling at the sight I saw, and just like that, my mind clouded with blood, and all I could see was red.

"No!" That voice... I recognized that voice. It was coming from... Xenon? Oh shit! Xenon!

A/N: The *bang!* in the previous chapter did not come from Claire's silencer gun but from Bryan's caliber that was triggered when he fell down and shot the wall.
