For two years, I did not just sit and watch; I acted and prepared... to kill that bastard. They are my spies around Marco. They might be working for him, but when the war starts, they will turn otherwise. I smirked.
"Good. Just enough to plan for the real battle," I stated, and they grinned.

**Venice Claire's POV**
I watched him from above while leaning against a wall. He looked... happy, and I'm happy for him.
I learned real happiness because of Xenon, and I hope he will get it too. I know, even now, that he's still imprisoned by his revenge, and he will be completely happy if he sets himself free.
They can't see me because my presence is unnoticeable, and Xenon can't sense me because he's busy talking with them.
He did a great job preparing for his battle. I'm sure he will get his revenge; he just needs to be vigilant about his people, or he will lose in just one mistake.
I've been listening to and watching every one of them. They are safe, except... for one. That guy named... Denn.
But this is Xenon's mission, not mine. I should let him handle everything and not act on my own.
This time, I will not interrupt... until then.
I walked downstairs toward them. The men were already gathered in the living room. Drena, Cassy, and Stella are in the kitchen preparing the snacks, while Jenna slept after eating. Xenon is sitting in the single chair in front, leading the conversation.
"Oh, here she is! I saw you earlier, and you're so cool!" I heard his name was Martin. He's a cute guy but not my type.
I can feel Xenon sending daggers at Martin with his deadly glare. Martin walked toward me and extended his arm, but I ignored him and continued walking toward Xenon, leaving him dumbfounded.
"Ouch! That hurts!" Coby laughed, and the rest joined in with him.
"Cold," Martin murmured as he pouted. Is he gay? Tch.
I stopped in front of Xenon and leaned down to him, holding both sides of his armchair. His eyes widened in shock from the sudden closeness we had. I smirked; it's really fun playing with him.
Some men whistled while the others cheered.
I leaned slowly closer to him until my face was three inches away from his, and he gulped while the others continuously cheered.
This is the only way he can agree, so I leaned closer to his ear. "Mom called; she wants me home, so I will borrow one of your cars. Don't worry, I'll be back, if not tomorrow, then the next day. Please...? I promise I'll be safe." I said in a very soft and quiet way that only he could hear. I know he can't resist it.
I felt him bite his lower lip, thinking of an answer. He's hesitating... he doesn't want me to go. Last card I can pull. I faced him so closely. "Please..." I pleaded in the sweetest voice I could muster.
He stiffened and slowly nodded. I couldn't help the smile that crept onto my face. "Thank you." I pecked his lips and stood straight. This time, my face went blank again as I turned my body and walked away, leaving Xenon frozen in his spot, likely thinking about what just happened.
"Woah! Did I see that right!? Claire smiled!!" Lucas exclaimed happily.
"You got it, dude. That was a world record!" Adrian added.
"What's with the smiling? You look like idiots," Bryan asked.
But the Insigma Fighters ignored him as they smiled like idiots. Tch.
"Fuck! What did I do?" Xenon murmured when I already got out of the door, closing it.
Time for a family bonding.

**Xenon's POV**
That girl is the end of me!
She's using my weakness to get what she wants. And she is my weakness!
One... two days without her? I think I'll go insane!
But maybe this is a great time to execute my plans.
"This is really in our great favor, dude. Nothing can stop us now, and he holds no one to use as blackmail," Bryan stated.
"I know, Bry. That's why—" I stopped when I heard a phone ring. "This is an important meeting; if you want to answer that, go far away," I stated to Denn.
He hesitated at first, but then he decided to pick it up. "I'm sorry; I have to go answer it. Please, continue." And he went out.
"As I was saying, we have to attack his minions' factory first, so we will have a great chance of winning if he loses some of his important tails," I stated.
It is a great first step since the girls' statement to the police was invalidated; the police did not accept it because they do not have enough evidence, and the lies of Marco's lawyer were believably crafted.
"How can we do that?" Martin asked.
"How many factories does he have?" I asked.
"Over three. That is all I know; I don't know if he is hiding some more," Lucas answered. I nodded in understanding. "Let's destroy those three factories first before the facility."
"That will be a great plan because Marco added more security on the school premises after your breakout. The school is full of his men, so we can't go in for now," one of the men said. I remembered his name as Thomas.
"Right. We need to lessen the pests before their king," Adrian added.
"We need to bring some of our trusted men on this, and those are you who are present here right now. Martin, prepare the explosives; we don't need more days for preparation. We will attack tomorrow..." I looked at each of them. "I counted 14 of us, so we will have three groups. Bryan will lead one group; the other will be Martin, and the four of us Insigma Fighters will be in one group." I explained, and they all nodded.
"Here's what you need to do..." I told them the plan.
"That seems so easy!" Coby exclaimed.
"That's a perfect plan, Xen. How can you hold onto that for so long?" Adrian asked, smiling.
"Tch. Enough of it. Everyone, the meeting is adjourned. Feel at home and feel free to leave. I'm going to take a rest," I said as I stood up.
"Yes, sir!" they said in chorus and laughed. I smiled at their behavior.
I walked toward my room and sighed as I plopped down on my bed.
I already miss her... I smiled, remembering what happened earlier. Claire looks childish the way she did it; she really knows how to make me give in to her.
Not long after, I fell asleep thinking about Claire.
I woke up from a knock on my door. "Xen! Dinner is ready!" Drena yelled. I looked at the window... it's too dark outside. I slept for too long... I remembered not sleeping last night, watching Claire from her deep slumber.
I smiled once again, remembering our moment in my bed.
I took my phone to see her destination... I always looked at it every time she was out of my sight.
But my forehead furrowed from what I saw... and when I completely realized it, "Fuck!" I cursed as I immediately sat up. I can feel my heartbeat pounding too fast.
