**Xenon's POV**

"Who do you think did this?" Lucas asked.

"I don't have any clue... but that person is definitely a sharpshooter," Coby answered.

"It didn't come from a sniper... but from a person inside this bar," I concluded. That is for sure; that person couldn't make these great shots if they weren't done from here.

"You're right. But there is no one looking suspicious other than these two dead people. What shocked me the most was that... my CCTV cameras did not record anything that happened earlier," Ricky stated, walking toward us.

We were standing near two dead bodies. We couldn't call any policemen or even the FBI to investigate because Ricky is a wanted person, and this place is illegal, including the drugs he keeps here.

"The CCTV cameras didn't—what? This must have been planned. Poor men..." Coby shook his head.

"What the heck..." Ricky suddenly murmured, which caught our attention.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked, his forehead creased as he looked intensely at the bullet wound on one of the dead men's foreheads.

"Something looks creepy," he stated lowly and knelt down near the lifeless man's head.

"What looks creepy?" Lucas asked, curiosity filling him.

"I've been in the underground for almost 40 years, but I've never seen this kind of bullet shot. No bullet can look like this..." He said and slid his finger inside the man's head, which was struck by what we now know is a bullet.

Lucas and Coby felt disgusted by the scene, but curiosity dominated me more than the disgust.

"Oh shit!" Ricky cursed when he realized something after some time of reaching for that so-called bullet.

"What's wrong?" Lucas asked curiously.

"Impossible..." Ricky murmured, pulling his finger out of the man's head. Then he took his handkerchief and wiped the blood away.

"So, what is it?" I asked impatiently.

"It's a..."

**Venice Claire's POV**

"Shut up." My voice was too cold, which made them silent. "You have a mission, and I need you to listen," I continued.

Their eyes suddenly lit up with excitement.

"You mean YOU will give us a mission??" Jake asked, emphasizing "you" excitedly.

"If you keep interrupting me, I won't think twice about killing you," I warned him coldly.

Jake stiffened for a moment and zipped his mouth.

"I have seen your accomplishments in just a short period of time, including your success with Ricky. So, I will need you tonight for your first mission with me." I started, seeing smiles spreading across their faces.

"Do you trust us now? Are you proud of us?" Jacob asked with glistening eyes.

"Trust? That's a big word I give to no one..." except him. "Proud? You'll still have to earn it." I've never been proud of anyone.

Their faces fell.

"What shall we do?" Blake suddenly asked.

"We go for a kill," I plainly stated, and they were partly surprised by it.

"Tonight? But where?" Blue asked.

"At Xenon's house," I stated blankly.

"On what!?" They all asked in shock and surprise.

"I won't say it again. Tonight I will lure the targets to Xenon's house..." I said but was interrupted by Blake.

"Who are the targets and why at Xenon's house?"

I leaned against the van, putting my hands inside the pockets of my leather jacket. "The targets are the Degouti Mafia; they have been a threat to the family, and at the same time, they are also after the Insigma Fighters because one of their big bosses was killed by them."

I remembered the last time I was in the tower; they killed a middle-aged man. Then I discovered that man was the big boss of the Degouti Mafia, and lately, they found out that the Insigma Fighters had gotten out of the academy, so they were looking for them to get their revenge.

Earlier, Dad called me for a mission; he wanted every last member of Degouti dead, and that will be for sure.

"The two men earlier, are they...?" Blake asked curiously.

"Yes, they were spies sent by the Degouti," I answered, and they all nodded in understanding.

"How will you lure them?" Blue asked all of a sudden.

"Simple," I smirked. "I put their tracker on the van."

They looked puzzled. "You put?"

"Tch. They were hella idiots; they put a tracker on the wrong van." I murmured more to myself, then I looked at each of them. "So, here's the plan..." and I explained how it would go.

"But where could we get that sleeping substance?" Jake asked.

When I saw a big motorcycle coming our way, I glanced inside the van. They were busy talking to each other, not caring about the outside, and the van was soundproof—I had tested it earlier. So it was safe.

The big motorcycle stopped near us. "Here it is," I stated.

She was wearing her helmet, so her face was hidden. "Hi, boys," she waved seductively.

"Hello, baby," Jacob said, coming near her.

"Is this yours?" she asked sweetly while handing me a small bottle. I took it, ignoring her question.

"Thanks?" I stated interrogatively when I sensed she wasn't going.

"You're welcome. Bye, boys!" She waved once again.

"Bye!" they said in chorus, and she drove away.

"Who was that?" Jacob suddenly asked, and I could sense his interest in Zoey.

"The huntress," I simply stated.

"The what!?" They all asked in shock.

"Baby!!" Then I saw Jacob running after where Zoey's motorcycle went.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier that it was the legendary huntress!?" Jake asked in terrible shape.

"Oh shoot, I should have talked to her," Blue murmured, looking like a little child who lost his favorite toy.

"You should have at least let us shake her hand, see her face, or just introduce ourselves at least," Blake said, ready to cry at any second.

"My baby left me." Jacob came back looking so sad.

"Tch. You will not meet her again if you fail. Here are the benzodiazepines; they will immediately put them to sleep. Xenon will let you stay at his house tonight, so do your job," I stated plainly.

"Yes, ma'am!" they saluted in chorus.

"I remind you: fail one person, and it is equivalent to your death." My voice turned cold.
