Sighing in relief, "It was just a dream," I murmured to myself, though it seemed so real. I shook the thoughts out of my head; it was a nightmare.
I tapped the place beside me where she was probably lying, but my heartbeat started pounding once again. "Claire," I said.
I suddenly stood up after feeling the comforter slightly cold, knowing it hadn't been used for hours. Where could she be? I looked at the clock on the table, but it didn't work. Brownout??
Curiosity filled me. If it’s a brownout, then where could she go at this hour?
I walked to my door and opened it. "Claire?" I called softly, careful not to wake the others. I started walking down the hallway when I saw a silhouette of a person. I sighed in relief, knowing it was Claire's posture and small figure. She was walking towards me, but suddenly, from behind a wall... a small figure just fell to the ground right in front of me.
What was it? I couldn't see it clearly because of the darkness.
Claire stopped right in that spot and kicked that particular thing back behind the wall.
I was frozen in my spot, and from the shadows of the moonlight, I saw it clearly.
"Xenon...? You must still be tired. Let's go back inside?" Claire said softly, like an angel whispering in my ear, sending flows through my bones. Her touch on my cheek sent tingles through my body. I nodded, not knowing what to say. I was like a puppet when she grabbed my hand and gently dragged me back to my room. From the light rays of the moon, I saw her dress... the same one she wore earlier.
What happened while I was sleeping?
Did I just hallucinate earlier?
She laid down on the bed and motioned for me to lie with her. I didn’t think twice, as my mind was clouded by questions, so I obeyed.
'What was it?' I asked impatiently at Ricky. 'It was... a marble,' he whispered the last words, wearing an unexplainable expression that was too clear for us to hear. I heard the others gasp, but I was frozen in my spot, remembering Claire's marbles.
She immediately wrapped her arm around me and pulled me closer. I could feel her warm touch... her comfort. The best place I wanted to be was beside her... no matter where life takes us... I wanted to be with her... only with her.
But... the figure of that thing she just kicked behind the wall never left my memory; it kept replaying.
The figure of a... hand... that creeped the hell out of me!
I looked at her sleeping face... a face of an angel... how could she fall asleep that fast!? I sighed. "Who really... are you?" I asked, barely a whisper, ensuring she couldn't hear. Did she do it? Did she kill those men at the bar?
What did she do earlier?
Why did she disappear for hours?
Curiosity kept building up in me... but I didn’t want to know the answers.
I didn’t want to know... however, I couldn’t help myself from knowing. She’s my first love... she completes me. And she’s my everything. I don’t want to lose her.
I closed my eyes, trying to sleep, but my eyes suddenly opened when the memory of my dreams popped into my head.
The Silencer... why? Why did I dream of you?
I wrapped my arms around Claire, feeling her warmth just as darkness filled my essence.

**Venice Claire's POV**
I can feel it... a new feeling building back in me. A feeling of nervousness; I don't want him to know, I don't want him to discover... it's too early.
"Who really... are you?" I heard him whisper.
I can't help it... he is eager to know, but surely he's waiting for me. And that's one of the million reasons why I love him. He is the only person who made this monster feel... love. I softly sniffed his scent, the scent that pulled us together when we first met.
Then darkness took over.

**Blake's POV**
"Woah! That was cool, Jacob!" Jake cheered to Jacob as he tapped his shoulder. But we all turned shocked when Jacob shoved his hand and walked towards the house.
"Hey! Do you want to die?" I asked, following him. We were not sure if it was already safe.
"All enemies are dead. It's safe," he stated in a serious tone. We all nodded in understanding, including the two who were still dazed.
"What happened to him?" Blue whispered to me.
"He saw it," I said, emphasizing the word "it." I knew they understood what I meant.
"Shit!" Jake cursed.
"Asshole," Blue murmured. We told him many times not to look back, but it seems like he did.
"That's what he gets for disobeying," I said as we got closer to the door.
"The others must still be sleeping," Jake said.
"I'm sure of it. It sounds too peaceful," Blue agreed.
"Jacob, you go turn on the lights," I ordered. Without a word, he went towards the switch in the basement.
Not long after, the lights turned on... and we all gasped.
"What... the... heck!?" Jake exclaimed.
"She is really a... monster." Blue shook his head, not believing the scene in front of him.
"This... is hell."
"... is going to be a long night," Jacob continued my words, walking near us with a look that couldn’t be deciphered.
Once again, I looked at the surroundings... there were many dead people, and a flood of blood covered the floor, even reaching the stairs.
A terrifying event had only been done... by a monster.
A monster hiding in the figure of an... angel.
