"If you won't stop crying, I'll put you in silence myself," I threatened. She kept on sobbing here inside our room.

Yup. Stella and I are sharing the same room while Jenna, Cassy, and Drena are sharing the room next to us. It's already nighttime, and the others are probably napping.

How could I ever sleep like this!?

I can sleep if I want to... but my awareness never sleeps, and with her sobbing in the room and my sensitive hearing, it bothers my awareness! This needs to stop!

When I got here after the conversation with Xenon, I took my bath and changed into my sleeping garments, just in time for dinner. After dinner, we went to our rooms, and that’s when I discovered I would be sharing the room with Stella.

It wasn't a problem until this happened. I'm not in the mood for a run right now because I haven't gotten any sleep these past few nights from the continuous runs at night to gather information and plan as well.

Don't get me wrong, but those are for my satisfaction because I haven't gone on a mission or intense activities these past few weeks.

I need rest... my body might not feel tired, but my health calculation says I need it.

"I'm sorry, Claire... I can't help it. I love him... I do ever since. I don't want to lose him, Claire... but he doesn't like me... I'm... disgusting. Who would ever love a killer?" she said sadly. Who would ever love a killer... it echoed in my mind.

"I do." She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't sense him coming. I purposely unlocked the door knowing that he would come.

"You took long enough," I said as I stood up and walked toward the door where he was already standing.

"Lu... cas..?" Stella said in shock and astonishment.

"Take your time; I won't be sleeping here anyway," I said to him.

"Thank you, Claire," Lucas said as he faced me, and I just nodded.

I continued walking toward the other room. Just when I faced the door, I did not hesitate to knock on it.

The most comfortable sleeping place I know.

**Xenon's POV**

I can't forget every single moment that happened earlier. She laughed... her angelic face, even her melodic voice... She's too perfect for me.

How could I steal your heart, Claire? Will you ever love me back?

I can't sleep thinking of her when someone knocked on my door. Whom could it be? I am frustrated with that person who destroyed my precious moment thinking of my angel. I ignored it, but it kept knocking again.

"Damn it!" I had no choice but to stand up and open it.

I opened the door frustratingly. "Wha— Ow." My face immediately lit up from the person revealed in front of me; however, I suddenly turned worried. "Why? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

It's almost midnight, but what is she doing here?

"Nothing. Lucas came, so I have to stay here for the night," she stated lazily as she opened my door wider and walked toward my bed.

Don't tell me... I was slow for a moment, but then, oh shi*!

"I would love to, but—" I stopped when I saw her plop down on my bed with her eyes closed.

"Just feel at home, Xenon," she stated softly.

"For sure," I answered, still stunned by her.

She keeps surprising me; what could be more surprising about her??

I walked toward my bed and lay down beside her. "I was just thinking about you, but you suddenly showed up," I murmured more to myself. I should keep thinking about you, which I do, so you will always be with me.

Her breathing was steady... she must be too tired because of what happened today. "How can you sleep so easily, leaving me awake? Just how could I ever fall asleep watching your angelic face...?" I can’t bear to sleep just by watching you.

I raised my hand and reached for her cheek, but I stopped when I got near her face. I might wake her up... so I traced her face through the air slowly, not touching her.

I respect Claire, and I won't touch her without her permission.

"Please... love me... even if not the way I do, but the way you can... just your love, and it will be the happiest moment of my life," I murmured too low for anyone to hear, ensuring I was the only one listening.

I just stayed there watching her pretty angelic face that I won't get tired of looking at until I didn't realize I had fallen asleep.

**Lucas' POV**

"Lucas, what are you doing here?" she asked softly.

"I wanted to see you," I answered as I walked toward her.

"Aren't you mad at me?" she asked, her red, puffy eyes full of worry. She cried... because of me.

"I'm not mad; I wasn't mad. I told you I needed time to think, and I already got it. See? It didn't last a day." I let out a small smile as I sat on the bed beside her.

"Aren't you disgusted by me? My hands... they killed many..." Her voice was full of sadness.

"Stella... you might have killed, but you saved many. You saved the girls, and... you saved me," I said as I held her soft, warm hand.

How can this innocent-looking girl become the brutal killer, Uno? No one would ever believe it. Just how I was surprised by it.

"I'm sorry for not telling you about my identity," she looked down.

"Why are you still awake?" I asked, changing the topic.

She faced me. "I can't sleep." And she pouted.

So cute!

"You want me to help you?" Her forehead furrowed in confusion.

"How?" she asked, and I smiled.

"This." "Agh!" I quickly pulled her down to the bed with me, which made her make a noise of surprised shock; her head was lying on my right arm, and my left arm was around her waist, hugging her.

I grinned. "Open your eyes." I said when I saw her eyes still closed.

"You surprised me; you should have just told me," she pouted again. This time, I couldn't help but peck her lips.

She gasped and covered her lips with her small hand. "Hey!"

"What?" I asked, looking innocent.

"Aish!" She turned her back to me. I smiled at her actions and pulled her closer to me, hugging her tightly, closing all the distance I knew.

Just how I dreamed every night to be with her, and now it did... come true.

"Sleep now, Stella..." I whispered to her.

I felt her hold my hand, and we intertwined our hands together as they perfectly fit each other.

"Lucas..." It feels so good hearing my name roll off her tongue.

"Hmmm."

"Don't leave me..." Her voice seemed desperate.

"I won't; just don't kick me away. Now go to sleep and don't think of anything. I won't leave you," I said softly, and then I heard her quiet yawn. She's already sleepy.

Not long after, I heard her steady breathing, meaning she had fallen asleep.

I have so many questions for her, but it's not the right time. 'I love him... I do ever since.' But since when? One question that I'm curious about more than anything.

I didn't even know that my nerd girl was already in love with me.
