Jenna's eyes widened in shock, and the rest gasped in horror, except for Stella, who maintained the same posture.

What’s stopping me from committing death is my will to be with those people who love me... who care for me...

Without them, I’d be long dead. That’s the reason Jenna is still alive after these two years—the reason I survived for fourteen years.

“No, please... don’t kill him... please...” I could see myself as a devil right now, which made it real as Jenna pleaded, crying in fear for her brother's life.

“Cl-Claire... stop it... please,” Drena said through her tears, but she was afraid to touch me, fearing I might do something unnecessary. Tch.

“Claire...” Cassy whispered, still stunned in her spot. They all knew not to touch me in this state, while Adrian stood frozen, horrified.

“Give me the right reason not to kill him,” I demanded coldly, looking intensely at her. I knew... she knew the right answer.

“He—he’s your friend,” she stuttered, answering out of fear.

“Wrong,” I said as I pulled the trigger and fired it at Adrian.

“Agh!” “Fuc*!” “Shi*!” “Damn!” The girls screamed, and the boys cursed in shock and horror, except for Stella, who doesn’t care.

Everyone was shocked into horror by the sound of the gunshot.

“Oops, I missed. Next time, I’m sure I won’t,” I said, still pointing the gun while staring at her. I could hear her heartbeat pounding too fast in fear.

The bullet passed one inch from the side of Adrian's head. He was shivering in fear as his eyes widened in shock. One wrong move, and he would die.

“No! Please! No... I’ll do anything! Please don’t kill him... I’ll do anything... don’t kill my brother... Not my baby brother... Please... I’m begging you...” She pleaded through her tears as she kneeled down, looking like a crazy woman who didn’t know what to do. Her mind was affected greatly.

“Good. I want you to eat plenty three times a day and accept consultation from a doctor. If my conditions aren’t met, he will face the consequences,” I said, shaking my gun while pointing at Adrian, threatening Jenna.

She nodded repeatedly in submission. “I will... I will do it.” I smirked secretly.

“Good girl. If you want to save him, stay alive.” I turned my back and threw my gun to Stella; she caught it.

“That’s enough,” I said to her, and she nodded as she put her gun down. I continued walking toward my room, but on my way, I heard claps and whistles from the men. The others cheered in adoration from near the door, but I ignored them and climbed the stairs.

I wasn't in the mood to entertain Xenon’s visitors.

When I reached my room, I took my phone and called Mom.

Just the right person to talk to.

**Xenon's POV**

I blinked and then blinked again. Am I dreaming? No... it was real. What the fuck just happened?!?

Claire... did she just hold a gun? Did she just fire it? She walked out, but none of us moved from our spots, still frozen and analyzing what had happened, except for Stella, who looked down and suddenly turned embarrassed.

I think I'm going insane...

Instead of feeling fear from Claire's suspicious actions, I felt proud instead! She just saved a person... she saved Jenna.

However, curiosity kept eating away at my entire system... who are you, Claire? How can you control Uno? She fired a bullet and intentionally missed an inch from the side of Adrian's head... without even looking!

She’s a sharpshooter!

Rare people can do that! I can do it as well, but it takes time to learn how to become a sharpshooter... and she’s well trained.

When I measured her strength, it was the same as Daniela’s... but I think it’s more than just strength... and she’s hiding it.

Oh, Claire... how can you make me fall deeper in love with you? I’m afraid that one day she’ll leave me... I’d die.

I can’t live without her.

“Dude! You really prepared a good scene for us. That was amazing!” Bryan exclaimed as he slung his arm over my shoulder, and the rest of the guys came into the living room uninvited. Tch.

“That was entertaining, Xen! Who's that girl from earlier? She’s so cool!” Martin asked, admiration evident in his voice, which suddenly caught my attention. I glared at him.

“Don’t mess with my girl, Martin, or you won’t see another day,” I threatened, using my deadly voice. He was known as a player.

Bryan immediately removed his arm from me, and Martin raised his hands in a surrendering position.

“Chill, dude! I was just asking for no particular reason,” he defended, smiling sheepishly. Martin is our weapons keeper. He keeps them in a factory full of weapons, including explosives. We worked hard to prepare for the war.

“By the way, dude, the others are also here,” Bryan stated as he stepped back, and there I saw our people; they were secretly working for the Insigma Fighters, waiting for the war we’ve been preparing for long before.

And this is the time...

Bryan has been working in the underground facility of Marco as a scientist. I met him before, and he’s great in Math and Science. From there, I also learned that his big brother was killed by Marco, and he was there for revenge... so we decided to work together to defeat him. We looked around the facility for others who were harboring hidden anger against their boss and created alliances with them.

And here they are...

“Nice to meet you, boss! I’m Denn; I’ve been wanting to meet you,” a guy wearing a leather jacket approached me, extending his arm. A new recruit?

“Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you. Denn has the same experience as mine, so I told him about us, and he wanted to join. So... I accepted him. Hope you don’t mind,” Bryan explained, scratching his neck.

“It’s fine. Nice to meet you too,” I smiled and shook Denn’s hand. But... I don’t know why I have this strange feeling about him that I can’t explain.

“Marco was too furious because he couldn’t kill you. You’re incredible! I’m a big fan!” he exclaimed. How did he know?

Bryan must have sensed my curiosity. “Denn is working as one of Baron's goons,” he explained. Oh, I see.

The rest of the men also approached and greeted me. Well, I already knew them.

“I brought ten of the men; the others can’t come because they’re busy with their jobs,” Bryan stated.
