Carlo and Mom know better than to touch it. So, I don't care where Zoey could find benzodiazepines, but I know she won’t disappoint me.

"I'm sure Ricky will come—oh, there he is!" Blake stated, pointing to someone in the distance.

I quickly hid my phone after the message was sent and looked at the person Blake was pointing at—an old man, probably in his sixties, with huge bodyguards by his side.

"Ricky! Right here!" Blake shouted, and even with the louder sound of the music booming around, he heard him, looking in our direction and smiling.

The old man walked toward us, followed by his bodyguards. This place really sucks. I can't last in a setting like this; it annoys my senses so much that I want to destroy every sound box producing that irritating music!

"Oh hey, Blake! Nice to see you again!" Ricky said, extending his hand to Blake.

"Nice to see you again, Ricky," Blake smiled, shaking his hand.

"I'm glad you brought new members of your gang to visit me here," Ricky said, looking at the other guys. "They have pretty ladies... I'm so happy to see new faces." He smiled at us.

Xenon suddenly slung his arm around my waist, becoming possessive again.

"Actually, only four of my gang members are here. I'm sure you've heard of them. The rest are the Insigma Fighters." After Blake stated the words "Insigma Fighters," Ricky's eyes lit up.

"Insigma Fighters!?" he asked in surprise.

"Yup. I want to introduce Xenon, the leader of the Insigma Fighters..." Blake stated, pointing at Xenon. "And here are Lucas, Adrian, and Coby—the famous members of the Insigma Fighters."

"Oh, am I glad to meet you. I've heard so much about your group," Ricky said, smiling while shaking hands with the Insigma Fighters.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Xenon said as he shook Ricky's hand.

"So... what brings you here?" he asked when he took a seat opposite Xenon and me.

"We are here to talk to you," Xenon stated directly, and Ricky's face turned serious, but I could see excitement in his eyes.

They started talking, but I didn’t take it seriously, so I ignored them. Not long after, I saw a suspicious man in the distance who kept glancing in our direction, particularly at Xenon. Then another man caught my attention from a different position opposite the first man. He was standing on the stairs, watching the surroundings while puffing a cigarette. What made him different from the people around here was the number of times he glanced in this direction; it was much more than he did in any other direction.

I turned my focus to Xenon. "That's why we want to ask for your people. Blake suggested it," he said to Ricky.

"Oh! Anything for the Blue Fire Gang," Ricky smiled. "I will offer my people, and oh, don't worry about them—they're loyal and trustworthy. How many of them would you like?" he asked.

"Really? Thank you so much!" Lucas's face lit up.

"Thank you. It depends on how many you can offer; we don’t really need much. We are already grateful you offered your men," Xenon stated, smiling.

"It's a pleasure to help the famous Insigma Fighters. One thing I can be proud of before retiring," Ricky said with his best smile. "So, about my men: Blake and I will discuss this. I have to know when you will need them and your plans for the attack so my men are aware."

"Right, Xen. Let me handle the men. I'll take care of them," Blake assured. Xenon nodded.

"What can you say about my bar?" Ricky asked, smiling.

"This is your bar!?" Cassy asked, looking so surprised.

"Woah! That's awesome!" Martin yelled in surprise.

But my attention suddenly shifted when the man standing in the middle of the stairs slowly took out his gun and secretly pointed it toward... Xenon. My eyes darkened; I immediately took two marbles out of my pocket.

But Blake suddenly stood up, blocking my view of that man. I changed my angle just inches away the moment the man tried pulling the trigger of his gun. My fingers snapped, and with just one strong blow, a marble flew straight to his forehead.

"Shit," Blake cursed lowly as he quickly covered his right ear and looked at me.

"...including the drinks... it's awesome!" My attention went back to Cassy, who exclaimed while opening her arms, with Coby supporting her.

Suddenly, we heard screams coming from the stairs.

"What is it?" Ricky asked, looking to his bodyguards behind his seat.

But while they were drawn to the sudden intrusion, my fingers delivered another blow to the suspicious man who pulled out his gun after seeing his fellow fall to the ground. With a snap of my fingers, another headshot.

He fell down too, resulting in panic among all the people on the dance floor.

"Fuck!" Xenon and the rest pulled out their guns.

He quickly stood up, shielding me from anyone who could harm us; the rest of the boys did the same, except for Blake, who, seeing what really happened, stayed frozen in his spot. He knew that if he moved a little, he was the one who would die.

"It was nice meeting you, ladies and gentlemen, but I have to go," Ricky hurriedly stated, walking toward the incident.

"Blake! Adrian! Take the girls outside, ensure their safety," Xenon ordered, then faced me.

"Claire... you go follow them; I'll catch up. I have to go and take a look." I nodded and stood up. Blake, who had just gotten out of his daze, walked beside me, acting like a shield against any danger. Tch.

"Let's go," Blake stated, but before we started walking...

"Please... take care of her," Xenon pleaded with Blake. When Blake nodded, he rushed toward the incident to investigate.

"Claire, Blake! Faster!" Adrian and Martin yelled near the exit. The girls were already with them, so we rushed toward them, followed by the rest of the Blue Fire Gang.

"Do you think they'll be okay?" Cassy asked, full of worry. The panic incident had jolted her awake from the effect of alcohol.

I hadn't even taken a sip of alcohol, afraid I would lose my consciousness and someone would take over my body.

"I'm sure of it," I answered, leaning back in my seat. We were already inside the van, and Adrian was in the driver’s seat, ready for any danger that might arise. Meanwhile, the Blue Fire Gang members were outside the van, acting as protectors. Tch.

I opened the door of the van.

"Where are you going, Claire?" Drena immediately asked.

"Outside. I want to get some fresh air," I answered, and she nodded.

"No, Claire, it is dangerous," Adrian stopped me.

"It wouldn't be. The Blue Fire Gang will protect me if anything happens." I didn’t wait for his answer but quickly went out and closed the door of the van.

"You should have warned me; I think I'll lose my ear," Blake complained.

"It's just a scratch, Blake. Stop nagging," I snorted.

"Claire! How did you do that!?" Jake asked eagerly for an answer.

"Strong force, Jake. One thing you don't have, so stop dreaming about it," Blue said to him.

"Can you teach me?" Jacob gave his best puppy eyes, but Jake slapped the back of his head. "Ouch! Why did you do that!?"

"Strong force, Jacob! One thing we don't have, so stop dreaming about it!" Jake crossed his arms after yelling at Jacob. But Jake received a low punch on the side from Blue. "Ouch! Why so sadistic, nerd guy!?" Jake arched, acting hurt.

"Shut up." My voice turned cold, which silenced them. "You have a mission, and I need you to listen." I continued.

Their eyes suddenly lit up with excitement.
