The girls burst out laughing. What's funny?
"Done laughing?" I asked, and they all turned silent, though they kept biting the insides of their cheeks. "Tch. I'm out of here."
"Come back here tonight for a makeover, okay?" Drena reminded me, still grinning. I ignored her and closed the door. I immediately went straight to Xenon's room.
"Oh, hi Claire! What's up?" Coby smiled as he passed me in the hallway, but I ignored him and continued walking toward Xenon's room.
When I got in front of his room, his door suddenly opened, revealing the confused-looking Xenon.
"Claire? What's the problem?" he asked the moment he saw me approaching, my face probably looking serious.
I ignored him as I grabbed his wrist and dragged him until we were both completely inside his room. I closed the door and pushed him against the wall—not hard, but with enough force to make him lean on it.
"Woah! What's wrong?" he asked, concerned, but I leaned closer to his face.
"Make sure you'll go there for a mission. If I ever see you with some girl..." I held his collar and pulled him closer so our faces were at the same level. "Prepare to dig a grave." He gulped but still nodded.
Days passed after the conversation with the Blue Fire Gang, and yes, we slept together at night, but only sleeping and nothing more. Even with the heating tension between us, he respected me and said he was willing to wait for the time I was ready to give my love.
Love... I know what I feel for him. But... I'm not ready to tell him... not yet. Not now... and I don't know when... I don't know if I can.
It's so difficult... telling him would be sacrificing everything. I shouldn't act foolishly because of this... love.
"Good. It's good to set this clear." I nodded more to myself.
When I looked at his face once again, his lips formed into a grin.
"Did it bother you?" he asked, grinning.
"Bother what?" I asked, feigning innocence.
"Me being with some girl," he directly stated.
"It didn't." I stepped back, and as I was turning my back, he suddenly grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to him.
He leaned his face closer to my ear and whispered, "Keep on denying it, but I can see the truth."
"What truth?" I asked.
Facing me, he smirked. "That your imagination is making you jealous."
I pushed him away, getting out of his hold. "I'm not!" Upset... my voice was not cold nor dark from anger, but purely upset.
He grinned. "See? You keep on denying it."
He sighed in defeat, hearing my silence.
He couldn't make me admit that I'm jealous... and yeah, I definitely am! Thinking of him with other girls makes me mad... I want him... all to myself.
He's mine. Only mine. I sensed my eyes darken for a second.
He blinked and then blinked again. "Did—did your eyes change... color?" he asked.
I froze for a moment, but he did not sense my reaction because of the curiosity that dominated his expression. "You might just be hallucinating right now," I covered up.
He took a deep breath. "Probably," he stated and held my hand. "I am yours, Claire, and I will never fall for any girl other than you. You have my heart... keep it as long as I'm alive. I hope...
I'm the only one who makes it into your heart," he softly said.
I could feel the tingles that ignited fireworks throughout my entire system... this guy keeps making all my organs work so crazily.
"If I let someone invade my heart, there is no one... except you." I bit my lower lip, not expecting the words that came out of my mouth.
He smiled. "That's my girl." And he pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged him back.
This is my man. I sighed in contentment and smiled.

"Girls! Make it fast; we're late!" Martin yelled at the door.
"Finish!" Cassy clapped while looking at her finishing touches on my face. She's beautiful in her aqua blue miniskirt dress that absolutely shows off her perfect body. But one thing I know for sure: Coby wouldn't like it because her cleavage is visible.
"Cassy... that is sooo wonderful!" Jenna said in surprise. She's already wearing a golden dress that fits her curves and beauty.
"Claire! You're gorgeous!" Stella exclaimed. She looked much cuter today with her eyeglasses, pink skirt, and white tank top.
"I bet Xenon wouldn't look at any girl except this beautiful lady." Drena smiled at me, making her look even more gorgeous in her red tube dress that perfectly shows off her curves. Her small eyes made her more attractive, especially when she smiled.
"You look like the coolest girl in town!" Cassy cheered.
I looked at the mirror and gasped. Who is this girl facing me?
She looked fiercer than ever... the makeup perfectly suited my plain emotions. Cassandra is a pro artist.
"See? Cassy made a great masterpiece today," Drena stated while looking at me through the mirror with a smile on her face.
I stood up, ruining my daydream. I knew these days would end, and I'd be back in my reality. Back to my own world... the dark world.
"Let's go. The boys can't wait any longer," I stated while walking toward the door.
"Thank God! It's been ages—Woah!" Martin exclaimed the moment I opened the door. "Claire... you're..." He shook his head. "I don't know how Xenon will handle this," he murmured all of a sudden.
But I ignored him and stopped. "Oh, I forgot something in my room. I'll be back immediately," I said to Drena, who had just followed me from behind.
She nodded, and I went to Xenon's room, which had also become mine, and took some marbles from my bag. I had taken them from Tarre's Mansion last time. "This could be enough," I murmured to myself.
