"Tell me, Claire, did he touch you?" His voice was deadly.
"No, he didn't." Not sensually, but he did hit me physically, yes.
I didn't want Xenon to know about it. I knew him; he would be furious once he found out. Xenon could not defeat any of my family, or else he would die.
Pain... it is something I couldn't feel... something I'm numb to, but my body is craving it. I felt my eyes turning dark.
I'd like to ask: what is the difference between feeling pain and feeling hurt?
Because I think I'm not capable of feeling pain... but I am capable of feeling... hurt.
I was lost in thought when I sensed him sigh in relief. "By the way, when I was thirteen, I made friends for the first time." My eyes returned to their normal brown as I smiled, remembering my wolves at the Morounes Cave.
"Friends... can I meet them? I bet they're kind and friendly," he said, smiling as he sensed the smile curving on my lips for a moment.
"Of course! They'll be glad to meet you," I gladly stated.
"That would be great! When can I meet them?" he asked, his eyes glistening.
"At the right time," I smiled once again, and he nodded in understanding.
"I like arts and I love science; it became my hobby." I bit my lower lip.
"That's awesome! Why didn't you tell me? I should have bought your supplies," he said.
"Oh no, you don't have to. Being with you is enough," I stated, still not looking at him, but I could sense him smiling.
"You don't know how much happiness you give me, Claire," he stated softly. I could feel my eyes getting heavy because of the comfortable feeling he was giving me.
I yawned and moved closer to him, finding myself in the most comfortable position. He tightened his hold on me.
"By the way, I'm curious, where did you learn how to fight?" he asked suddenly.
I smirked. "From the devil... himself," I said, my voice taking on a dark tone. I felt him stiffen, and suddenly I sensed anger radiating off of him.
"Who's that devil?" he asked, his voice venomous.
But I was too sleepy to care as darkness consumed me.

**Xenon's POV**
"Who's that devil?" I didn't realize my voice had become so dark that it turned venomous.
But she did not respond, and suddenly I heard her steady breathing... she had fallen asleep.
How could she fall asleep when we were still having our talk!? I sighed and lifted her as I stood up.
I slowly laid her down on the bed and settled beside her.
Who could be the devil she was talking about?
...Her voice was dark, too dark for my taste, and I felt her anger... anger that no one could see or feel except me. I felt it connect to me, causing my anger to rise suddenly.
I knew from the moment I saw her that we shared this kind of connection... and from that moment on, I discovered that she was... my soulmate.
I kissed her forehead and watched her sleeping face.
This angelic face hides too many secrets... I could feel it... but I didn't know what secrets she was hiding... I was just waiting... waiting for her to reveal them.
I trust her, and I hope she trusts me as I do her. I hope one day she will open up to me... that way, she will be willing to give her heart completely to me.
There's nothing impossible if a person is dedicated to their love. And I'm dedicated to this lovely girl in front of me. I held her body tight and pulled her closer, feeling the comfort that my body needed.
I suddenly stiffened when she slung her arm around my waist and moved closer to me, moaning in comfort. I felt myself harden; this girl was the end of me!
I smiled, and after some moments, darkness took my essence.

"Are there any other people we can ask for help?" I asked.
The boys shook their heads. Lucas, Adrian, Coby, Martin, and the girls were gathered outside the house.
Bryan had already gone back to his job, or Marco would get suspicious if he took too long. We had been together for more than two years, and our friendship was like what I had built with the members of the Insigma Fighters.
"Let's try them, Xen. Blake is a nice guy... I hope. Well, at least we tried," Lucas said.
"Yup! There's nothing to lose in trying," Coby exclaimed.
Claire walked closer to me. "Can I come?"
"No, it's too dangerous. I can't risk your safety, Claire." I was afraid the Blue Fire Gang would turn hostile and try to kill us.
It was their territory, and they had a great advantage.
"Okay, just don't forget to say my name. Tell them I asked for it," she stated.
What does she mean? The last time I checked, they kidnapped her, and... I suddenly pulled her into a hug and smelled her scent. It calmed me.
It's hard to look back on the past that hurt me like hell! I don't want to put her in that situation anymore... not ever again!
I pulled out of the hug. "Whatever; those guys are hard to put on a leash, but I'll do my best." I smiled.
"Tch. If they do something stupid, tell me, okay? I'll definitely burn them to ashes," she stated, which made me laugh, and the rest of the boys smiled at her attempt to joke.
Her forehead furrowed in confusion, probably thinking whether she made a great joke out of her words, which she really did!
"Yes, ma'am! Silly. I'll be fine; don't worry," I said, rubbing her head.
"Let's go, lover boy!" Coby called. They were already waiting for me in the car.
"Tch. Hey, Martin! Don't dare play with the girls, or you're dead," I threatened.
"Don't you worry, Xen! We got him!" Cassy yelled and then winked.
"I will not do anything stupid with your girls, okay? They are not my type," Martin defensively stated.
Tch. I looked at Claire once again. "Don't come near him; that's my order," I demanded, and she nodded, biting her lower lip.
That's my girl.
I hope things will turn out well with the Blue Fire Gang.
