"papa!"

minho broke out into a wide grin as he watched his 4 year old son, hyunsoo, totter over after receiving the 'okay' to do so from the daycare staff.

"hey, kiddo!" minho swooped his son up into his arms before setting him onto his hip.

he immediately smothered his son in necessary cheek kisses before his son was left almost panting from laughing.

"say goodbye to everyone, soo!" minho waved as hyunsoo smiled.

"bye bye!" he chuckled as minho bowed to them all before walking back towards the door.

"here is his coat, mr lee." jia, one of the daycare staff, smiled as she handed the small jacket over. she then turned her attention to hyunsoo with a grin. "don't forget to tell your dads about the special sticker when you get home!"

minho dramatically gasped as he watched his son shyly giggle, "you got a special sticker!?"

"for being so well behaved." jia chimed in, "and for helping out with the new kids that arrived today."

"aww~" minho cooed as he pinched hyunsoo's cheek, "acting just like you do at home with yunha."

hyunsoo eagerly nodded at jia, "i read sissy her favourite book yesterday!"

"did you!?" jia beamed "i bet she loved spending time with her big brother."

minho smiled warmly at her, once again thanking her and the other staffs before the pair began walking out to the car park.

"blue car, red car, black car, black car,"

minho let his son carry on until he let out an exceptionally loud "red car!!!" once the pair had reached minho's maserati.

he buckled his son into his car seat before walking round to the driver's seat and strapping himself in.

"well, hyunsoo," minho began after his son had told him all about his day, "appa and yunha have been very busy today and there may be a surprise waiting for you at home."

"a surprise!?" hyunsoo clapped his hands before punching and kicking the air, "i love surprises!!!"

minho airily chuckled at how much his son was just like his husband. the pair both sharing an undeniable love for surprises.

the rest of the journey home was filled with question after question from hyunsoo.
the four year old begging his papa to reveal what was waiting for him, causing minho to remind him of the meaning of 'surprise.'

that was another thing hyunsoo and jisung had in common, a lack of patience.

to minho, hyunsoo was a direct copy of jisung while yunha was more like minho.

even though she was only two years old, yunha had made her love for cats very evident. just like her papa with always tottering after their pets.

soon enough, minho and hyunsoo pulled up in the driveway.

though minho was distracted, as soon as he'd heard his son start to excitedly yell at seeing something, minho could only guess his son had seen jisung standing in the doorway.

he wasted no time in getting himself out the car, walking round to free his son from the car seat to then place him down on the pavement.

minho held a warm smile as he watched his son run (waddle) over to the porch as quick as possible.

"baby!" jisung called as he bent down, letting hyunsoo crash into his embrace.

jisung stood up with the biggest smile as he cuddled his little boy.
