a few months later...

since the moment she had been woken up that morning, chaehyun hadn't once managed to sit still as she was far too excited.

three days ago, her appa and papa had gone to the hospital as the time had come for her brother or sister to be brought into the world.

as chaehyun couldn't go with jisung or minho, she'd been staying with the family's next door neighbour who was more than happy to look after chaehyun.

their neighbour, ms jang, was a babysitter which meant that her house was more than fit for chaehyun to keep herself occupied.

on top of that, jisung had been visiting the house often to make sure both ms jang and chaehyun were okay.

chaehyun would continuously ask her appa 'when can i meet baby peach?' to which jisung's answer was almost always 'soon'.

however, when chaehyun had been woken up, ms jang had just come off of the phone with jisung and had been given the go ahead to tell chaehyun the news.

today, chaehyun would finally be meeting her baby brother or sister.

from the moment they'd driven away from the hospital, minho hadn't been able to stop looking between his boyfriend and their new baby for the whole drive.

for the first time ever, minho was excited to be coming home after having a baby.

not only did minho know that chaehyun would be thrilled to welcome them home, but he was finally going to raise a child with someone who would be there through it all.

finally, minho could say that he was raising a family with the love of his life at his side.

a small laugh pulled him out of his thoughts as minho noticed his boyfriend was smiling to himself.

"what!?"

"nothing, darling," jisung briefly waved his hand before putting it back on the wheel. "it's just, you stare at me for so long, stare at peach for so long, and i've been waiting for you to say anything." he laughed again before playfully waving his hands along with his words. "maybe i'd even hear a dreamy sigh before you would perform a monologue about how cute mine and baby peach's cheeks are."

"oh hush." minho scolded, turning around to look at the backseat only for his scowl to immediately drop as he pouted. "oh but look! they're just so squishy! it's our little squish!"

jisung grinned, looking into the rearview mirror with a soft sigh as he nodded and turned his attention back to the road. soon letting out a small cheer as he turned into their neighbourhood.

as he pulled into the driveway, he killed the engine and immediately unbuckled his seatbelt to run around the bonnet to minho.

the door on minho's side was quickly opened as jisung pecked minho's cheeks before holding out his hands in expectancy.

however, his smile faltered as he noticed minho wasn't getting out of the car.

"love, are you okay!?" jisung hurriedly asked. "d-did i make you feel sick by running too fast!?"

it was quiet for a moment before minho burst out laughing, holding his side lightly as he shook his head.

"j-jisungie baby," minho shook his head, calming down with a sigh as he leant back and pointed to his seatbelt. "i can't exactly get out of the car if i'm still buckled in."

as minho began to laugh again, jisung subtly pouted. "i just wanna help..."

"my precious man." minho tsked, unbuckling himself and accepting jisung's help as he was slowly brought out the car.
