the whole time minho was on the phone to felix, his expression had mostly been a slight frown as felix revealed what state the older's boyfriend had been in over the last few weeks.

a month ago, jisung had temporarily moved out of his and minho's residence to instead live on his university's campus with felix as his roommate.

recently, the student who felix shared a dorm with had mentioned to felix that his lease was ending early as he was moving abroad, meaning that felix would be without a roommate for the last few months of the academic year.

felix, with being a very social person, was at first extremely disappointed with having to live by himself for a few months. though, he soon realised the true benefits of the situation such as how his best friend could now live with him for the time being.

towards the end of their academic year, jisung and felix were faced with many exams to complete, and the slightly older of the pair was almost known for being badly affected due to the stress he endured.

even though he'd be without the comfort of minho, his boyfriend and his caregiver, jisung knew he could trust felix as a temporary caregiver for the time being.

however, though he tried his best to explain what made him the most comfortable when in headspace, jisung wasn't completely aware of his usual behaviour, typically following his own heart while minho happily supplied him with what he wanted and what he needed-whether jisung was expecting certain necessities or not.

because of this, minho and felix had met many times before jisung was supposed to be moving into the university dorm so that minho was assured felix could help jisung the best he could.

on the first day of jisung moving in, felix wasn't too expectant that his best friend would slip straight away. more so expecting jisung to slip when the stress began to kick in.

however, though jisung's stress levels were continuously increasing as time progressed, felix had been very confused at his best friend's behaviour.

"so," after felix had explained the entire situation to the older, minho's concern was evident as he spoke. "jisung didn't slip at all?"

"n-no," felix mumbled. minho could almost imagine he was nervously pulling at his lip. "i'm really sorry that i didn't say anything but jisung told me not to! he told me he was going to tell you himself, but we've both just been so busy with exams that i didn't remember to check, i'm really sorry, minho."

"hey, it's okay, lix. i can understand that you had a lot on your mind." minho assured, letting out a light sigh as he took a moment to think. "...i just wish he would have said you know?" minho slightly hesitated before asking. "how...how was he?"

the small hesitation on the other side of the phone did little to settle minho's nerves.

"it wasn't great, minho. i knew the two of us were going to be sleep deprived to a certain degree, but sometimes i'd catch jisung asleep at the dinner table or on the couch with his head dropped on his book. i-i always took him back to his room though!" felix added quickly, the panic for minho to know quite obvious.

"lix, you're alright." minho interjected, reminding the younger to calm himself slightly before attempting to continue.

after an slow, audible inhale and exhale, felix proceeded with his explanation.

"so yeah, i'd take him to his room incase he'd wake up in headspace and i wanted him to have a safe space. i thought his bedroom would be the best bet, as no one was allowed in except for the two of us. only, jisung never slipped, not even when i thought he really really needed to."
