"look, i'm sorry but i'm really not interested." jisung said for what felt like the 10th time to the man trying to hit on him at the bar.

"oh come on~" the man slurred as he pushed jisung's drink closer to him, "at least finish your drink first! i'll buy you another and then we can go dance."

jisung lightly flinched as he suddenly felt a gentle hand rest on his shoulder.

"babe!" a boy with black hair and a feline smile sighed in relief as he slowly lifted his hand off. "i must say you're taking an awful long time with these drinks." he joked, noticing jisung's look of confusion.

subtly, minho slightly gestured to the drunk man at the bar causing jisung to immediately understand what this boy was attempting to do.

"o-oh," jisung mumbled before breaking out into a smile. "sorry, love! guess i got a bit held up." he chuckled as he stood himself up.

minho waved down his hands before draping his arm around jisung's shoulders.

"that's alright, sweets." he dismissed as he cuddled closer to him. "but, the group is starting to wonder what's taking so long so let's get you back."

minho began to steer jisung away before jisung looked back at the bar.

"w-wait but i didn't pick up my drink-"

"-trust me," minho interrupted with a low voice. "you don't want that drink."

jisung felt his stomach turn, realising what could have happened if this stranger hadn't come to save him.

the pair arrived at an empty booth as jisung saw empty glasses on the table and a few jackets on the seats.

"don't worry. i'm not a predator, nor am i here alone." minho laughed as he gestured over to the dance floor where six boys were soaking up the music, "it's just, dancing isn't really my thing."

jisung smiled and turned back to the stranger, "it's not really mine either. i've been trying to get myself out there more and i thought a club was the best idea," he chuckled to himself as he shook his head. "i guess not."

"yeah..." minho looked over him with a sympathetic look. "would you like to get back home? i can order you a taxi if you'd like?"

"no!" jisungs hands shot up as he waved them before dropping them to his knees and slightly sinking into himself. "s-sorry no. it's just, i don't have a good history with taxis."

"woah, you can't catch a break can you?" minho laughed before gasping and looking down at the table. "shit, i'm sorry. that was probably really insensitive."

he felt a wave of relief when the smaller boy opposite let out a slight laugh.

"it's fine," jisung smiled "i guess it's a sign i should just stay in my apartment all day and take it easy."

"i could walk you back to your apartment if you'd like?" minho offered as he figured the boy he saved wouldn't want to stay at the club for much longer.

"if you don't want to walk back with a stranger i completely understand. but, even if i have to convince those drunk fucks to leave so we can walk with you, i'll happily do it if it means you feel safe going home."

"no it's okay, they're fine to dance the night away." jisung smiled, "besides, you saved me from getting spiked so i think i should at least let you walk with me for half an hour." he teased as minho nodded before clapping his hands together.

"oh!" he grinned as he placed a hand on his chest. "i'm minho by the way. i just realised i called you 'babe' back there and you don't even know my name."
