almost as soon as he woke up, minho smiled at the feeling of an all too familiar weight on his chest.

the usual way the couple would fall asleep together would be minho lying on his side either spooning or cuddling jisung who always had his head tucked under minho's chin, no matter what way he was facing.

however, whenever he was feeling extra clingy, jisung would always find a way to move himself so either his head or most of his body was resting on minho's chest.

this morning, it was latter.

minho had gently ran his fingers through his younger boyfriend's black hair until he felt jisung began to stir.

"morning, baby."

the younger brought his shoulders to his ears, hiding his face behind his arms as he tucked his face further into the crook of minho's neck.

"you sleep alright, darling?"

"mmm." jisung hummed, causing minho to smile at the slight vibrations on his skin. "still tired though." he huffed as he dramatically let his arms fall to his sides, groaning when minho took advantage of his sleepy state and drilled his fingers into his sides.

"well tough luck, jisungie baby, but i can't stay in bed too long as i need to finish off my painting."

"but the deadlines in 4 days!" jisung whined, lifting his head to look at minho as he pouted. "that's plenty of time!"

"i'm not the type of guy to leave everything to the last minute." minho teased, thumbing jisung's bottom lip who huffed and swatted minho's hand away as he sat up.

minho smiled at jisung's slumped posture. how his hair was covering his eyes meaning jisung was pretty much staring into a black abyss even though his eyes were open.

"cute." minho mumbled under his breath, leaning forward to place a kiss on jisung's forehead before he got himself out of bed. "you coming for breakfast, baby, or are you going to sleep some more? i was gonna have a quick shower and make breakfast but i can save yours for later if you're not hungry yet."

"mmph."

"jisungie baby, i don't know what that meant." minho shook his head, a fond look on his face as he'd walked over to their bedroom door, pausing as he'd opened it while keeping his eyes on jisung.

"gonna sleep." jisung murmured as he dropped back down onto the bed, curling up where minho had been as he melted in the warmth of the covers. "i'll have breakfast later."

minho nodded and was about to walk out of the now opened door before he quickly hurried over to the bed to kiss his boyfriend on his two chubby cheeks and nose to then leave and head into the bathroom to get ready.

jisung smiled to himself and slowly drifted back into a long deep sleep.

once waking up almost two hours later, jisung had woken up in headspace and found his breakfast had been left on the nightstand for him.

as minho guessed that jisung would be asleep while he was busy, he opted for making an oatmeal bowl so jisung didn't have to settle for a cooked breakfast turned cold. though he remained unaware that jisung was currently in headspace, minho assumed that he would be fine and knew that jisung was aware of his caregiver's whereabouts should he need him.

following his usual little routine, jisung had brushed his teeth himself though avoided the shower due to minho's rule that he shouldn't have one while in headspace unless minho was close by.
