TW: mentions of past
substance abuse

right now, minho was close to panicking.

his eyes were frantically searching around the long stretch of park in front of him, trying to find a small bundle of white fur.

"when i get my fucking hands on you lee felix i swear-" minho grumbled to himself, his legs now aching from all the fruitless walking he'd been doing in the last twenty minutes.

twenty minutes, since he'd last seen the dog felix had begged him to look after.

it wasn't felix's dog of course, not by any means.

felix had been asked by a friend to dog sit for a couple of hours, since the owner couldn't find a sitter while he was needed at his work.

therefore, being the amazing friend he is, felix immediately accepted and had been doing a great job of looking after his friend's puppy.

at least, that was until a certain seo changbin just had to ask felix if he wanted to come and watch his game that afternoon.

that was when minho received the call. at first, minho could barely make any sense of what felix was saying until he heard changbin's name. it was only then he understood that whatever felix had been doing couldn't possibly be continued, and so he desperately needed minho to step in for him.

originally, minho was very set on saying no. it wasn't like he didn't like dogs, but with being around cats for so long, minho didn't think it would be as easy as sitting far away from the pet and leaving them to do their own thing.

however, as soon as felix had offered to pay minho, the older had agreed and soon found himself attaching a lead to a puffy cloud and walking towards the park not too far from his house.

at first it had been going well even though minho was extremely surprised by just how much energy a dog that size could have.

and that, was what brought on minho's current predicament.

somehow, the lead that gave minho some kind of control over the small marshmallow with legs, had come away from their collar. minho hadn't had time to blink before the dog had bolted off into an unknown direction and left minho practically stranded with nothing but a lead in his hand.

immediately, minho had set off to begin walking in all directions, asking almost every person or family he passed if they had seen a small white dog without a lead.

as much help as everyone tried to be, the dog was still nowhere to be found and minho was becoming more and more desperate, wondering how on earth he'd not only tell felix but the dog's actual owner- whoever they were.

now with his legs almost giving up on him, minho decided to take a short rest break and walked over to a small bench.

it was there he saw a mop of auburn hair, flattened down by large headphones with music playing that was slightly audible even with the bustle of conversations and sounds of nature around the pair.

minho couldn't quite see his face, and was about to leave him to it when he began to wonder if this person had been sat here for a long time.

if so, it wouldn't hurt asking if they'd seen minho's lost dog.

so, after taking slow steps so he didn't scare the boy, minho was now standing in front of him and lightly waved his hand in front of his face.

watching as the boy removed his headphones, minho began speaking.

"hey, sorry to bother you but i was wondering if-oh." minho immediately cut himself off, a scowl resting on his face as the boy lifted his head.

now in front of him was jisung.
