I could feel the heat coming off my body as I stomped down the small path.

No one had ever dared talk to me like that.

I mean, Keir and I have had our fights clearly, but the man just complains about how he feels. What he hates about me. Dumb crap.

This motherfucker has no regard for anyone.

He needs to learn what is and isn't any of his business.

Back at the castle when I was fighting with my dad, I would go train with Keir. I mostly did it to piss off my father but then I took an interest in Keir and actually started to enjoy the training.

I had a lot of fight in me right now and I really needed an outlet.

I'm sure as fuck not fighting Ambrose.

One of his friends will do.

I trained hard and I wasn't afraid to get a little dirty.

I only stopped when my mother passed. After that, I felt inert.

Not anymore.

I am in a foreign place full of strangers, some of which hate me already.

This will help.

The ring came into view in the distance.

I could make out Keir in the middle sparring with a man named Durian.

A bunch of other men formed a circle around them as they beat the shit out of each other.

Both Durian and Keir were bleeding from the mouth as they threw erratic punches at each other. Frantically trying to knock the other out.

Idiots.

I marched up and took my place in the circle.

My skirt wouldn't do well like this, so I tied it up on the side.

A whistle came from my right. "Hey now, who's the pretty lady?" a tall slender man called.

I whipped my head towards him.

Kallen smirked at me.

"Are you asking them, or are you asking me?" I yelled back.

The men erupted in laughs.

"Fiesty one aren't you?" another man added.

Keir separated from Durian in time to see me.

"Calenthe?" he called.

"Calenthe.. mmh what a beautiful name, for such a beautiful girl" Kallen drawled.

I was all aware of the eyes dragging over me.

My legs were bare, my bruises were purple and my face was red.

I ignored the other men.

"Calenthe what's wrong?" Keir asked studying my face.

"I want to spar." I said simply.

The men around me laughed.

"Do you want us to fetch you an opponent." said the largest guy in the corner.

He was staring at me with a dark smirk on his face.

I sent the laughing men a vicious glare.

"I have my opponent." I stated.

I stepped into the ring.

I rolled my sleeves up slightly and faced Durian.

"No Calenthe you are not doing this." Keir yelled.
