Our breaths were rapid.
I didn't dare think of what just happened.
Ambrose grunted as he scooched over to me.
His rough hands softly brushed my hair back.
I didn't turn around to look at him.
Instead, he leaned in and placed a kiss on my shoulder.
"Did I hurt you butterfly?" he whispered deeply in my ear.
I blushed deeply realizing the ache I felt between my legs.
I said nothing.
He placed another kiss along my shoulder, and another two down my back.
I let out a small moan.
He grabbed my waist and turned me around so that I faced him.
I stared at his chest.
I couldn't look at his face because I didn't want what I had just done to come crashing down on me. I didn't want to look down because- well you know.
He was having none of that.
"Look at me calenthe." He bitterly held back his anger.
I said nothing.
He shook his head and went to stand up.
A stray tear left my eye. "I'm sorry" I whispered to him.
He just stood there and stared.
I expected him to yell, I expected him to call me vicious things and then storm away.
But he just stood there.
I looked up at him.
"You're sorry?" he looked hurt, almost disgusted.
I rubbed my neck. "I don't know" I answered honestly.
"I don't know what the fuck is going on." I whispered.
He was right in front of me now. My hands were shaking wrapped around my knees.
Ambrose carefully removed my hands from my legs and pulled me up.
"Lets get you cleaned up." he kissed my forehead.
I let him walk me over to the waterfall. He placed his hands on my waist and moved me under the water.
"Stay here" he said.
I lifted my head so that the warm water could meet my face.
I felt quiet, every thought had left my mind.
I could only feel the water.
Ambrose came back with a bar of soap in his hands.
"Where did you get that?" I asked feeling dazed.
He chuckled. "I like to wash here sometimes, the water is warmer here than it is in my cottage."
My face lit up at the touch of a smile on his.
He stepped towards me and ran the soap under the water.
I needed to feel his body so I greedily grabbed his arm and pulled him towards me.
His eyes glued onto mine.
He knew how I felt. No matter how fucking hard he hid it, I knew he felt the same way too.
I let him run the soap down my body.
Neither of us said a word.
He rinsed my hair and ran his hands down my body like he owned every inch.
