Dazai's POV:

"Ah, you saved me. I am so grateful, truly." "Shut up asshole, and wipe that smirk off your damn face."

Hours before:

"Take cover! Their attacking-" "Relax Kunkida, I can handle a bunch of low scums." Dazai stood up from behind the flipped-over car, stuffed his hands into his coat pockets walking to the enemies. "He's crazy." Atsushi agreed, Saigiku spotted Kunkida and Atsushi, and there, their battle began. The Armed Detective Agency was up against the Hunting Dogs, fighting until their last breath.

"Ah, this fight is utterly disappointing." "Agreed boss, but one of our own is helping out." "Hmm? Oh, you mean Akutagawa. Tch, he's just helping Dazai and that were-tiger boy." Chuya took his hat off holding it to his chest. "Yep, he still wants Dazai's approval." "Sad isn't it? I was just starting to like him too. I do not want to lose another one of my people. After this stupid little battle clears up, I want you to go to the scene and collect any information. Understood, Chuya?" "You got it, boss, just give me the green light when it is over." Chuya put his hat back on and left Mori's office. The battle between the Hunting Dogs and the Detective Agency lasted a couple of hours.

"Chuya, I believe their battle is over. Go on now." Chuya drove off to the battle scene. He parked his car walking around, blood splatters, broken blades, bullets, and broken guns were all over the ground. "Jesus, this Agency leaves a fucking mess wherever they go." "What are you doing...here?" Chuya looked over seeing the were-tiger on the floor brutally bruised. "My job. I don't want to pick a fight." Chuya walked by the were-tiger stepping on his foot. Atsushi let out a shriek of pain before he passed out. Chuya explored the majority of the battle area collecting little information. "Tch, everyone is almost dead." He looked over seeing a tunnel alleyway, a person was in there. Chuya walked over, the pink lights flickering above him, graffiti on the cement walls. Chuya stood in front of the person, his blue eyes widening at the realization that it was his former Mafia partner, Osamu Dazai.

Dazai's brunette eyes meant Chuya stunned blue eyes. "Well well, If it isn't Chuya Nakahara." Dazai coughed up blood, he was holding onto his wounded side. There was stained dry blood under his nose, and head. Chuya laughed under his breath quietly, "Isn't this a pathetic sight? My old partner hanging on for dear life. God Mori would have a heart attack looking at you right now." Dazai glared at his former partner, "Haha, very funny." Chuya smirked and laughed some more, "Dazai, the day you vanished from the Port Mafia, you didn't even tell me. I had to find out from Mori, you jackass." "Chuya...I'm sorry" He choked out more blood, his face was growing pale. "Sorry? Sorry, my ass Dazai. I don't even know why Akutagawa still seeks you're stupid ass approval, you're an asshole." "Chuya..." Dazai gripped his wounded side still bleeding, Chuya laughed and walked away from him.

"I still think about our fight with Ranbō, do you remember that battle Chuya?" Chuya stopped in his tracks while Dazai coughed. "That is how we meant each other, and became partners later on. I still think and dream about those moments Chuya." "You do huh?" Chuya turned over his shoulder looking at his bruised-up former partner. "Yes, Chuya. I do." Chuya clenched his hand giving in, "Ugh, you are the fucking worst Dazai. You owe me closure and some information about this dumbass battle understand?" "Yes." Chuya walked over to his former partner helping him up, heading back to Chuya's car. Chuya helped him into the car, cautious with his open bloody wound.

Chuya started his car leaving the battle scene. "Okay, shut up while I call Mori," Dazai grunted in response holding onto his wound. "Boss, I got some information." "Fantasic, any word on Akutagawa?" "No boss, he wasn't at the scene when I arrived. Yep, ill deliver the information tomorrow, traffic is a bitch right now." Chuya hung up looking at his partner, Dazai looked back at him. Chuya drove to his apartment, got out of the car, and helped Dazai out. He took him inside his apartment, laying him on his bed in his bedroom. He got a first aid kit and did his best to clean Dazai's wounds and bandage them up. "There, that should be good." "Ah, you saved me. I am so grateful, truly." "Shut up asshole, and wipe that smirk off your damn face." "Can I get one more bandage please Chuya!" Dazai's eyes sparkled, "No jackass, you've used enough of my shit."

Chuya left to put away the first aid kit, he came back and laid down next to Dazai on his bed. "I want all the information you have on the 'Hunting Dogs'." "Okay-" "And I want to know why you left the Mafia, why you didn't tell me all those years ago. I want closure." Chuya looked at Dazai, and Dazai looked back at him. "Okay, but I have to stay the night." "That's fine." "Okay, the Hunting Dogs..." Dazai started.
