Two sheep, only one sheep survives. (Story 5)

"Kunikida Sir, the two suspects are on top of the rooftop. They don't look armed. Out snipers are in place too." Kunikida grabbed his handheld transceiver "We will give them a chance to surrender, if they reject, we take our shot." "Kunikida, this is big. Are you sure we're prepared?" Atsushi asked, his tone nervous. "I believe so. We are the Armed Detective Agency, and our enemies the Port Mafia are sitting like ducks on the rooftop. We will never have an opportunity like this again." "He's right Atsushi. This is extremely rare, the leader never leaves his office. And the second most powerful member next to him. We can take out two powerful birds right now." Dazai loaded his gun, and prepared for whatever was about to go down. "Is everyone in place?" Kunikida buzzed into his transceiver. 

"Yes, Sir Kunikida." "Good, let us go now." "Roger." Police armed up and the Armed Detective Agency ran to the rooftop with the two Port Mafia members. "This is the Armed Detective Agency, you have two choices. Surrender and come with us, or we kill you right here right now. We have snipers in place ready to take you out!" Mori laughed like the psychopath he is. "Ah, we can never catch a break can we, Chuya? We are just two sheep trying to enjoy drinks huh?"

Chuya laughed too. "No boss we cant. It looks like we're surrounded by the police." Mori turned around noticing his former member, Dazai, his twisted eyes lit up. "Oh my, it's Dazai. Dazai, I haven't seen you in ages. How have you been at the Agency? Are they treating you better than I did?" "Dazai?" Chuya turned around noticing his former partner with a gun ready to take Mori out. "Dazai? These freaks know you?" Kunikida glanced to his side looking at Dazai. "They are treating me much better than you Mori." 

"Dazai? Were you involved with the Port Mafia?" Atsushi looked at the man that saved him in the lake that day. "How could you work for them?" Mori and Chuya were laughing hysterically. "He used to be my partner back in the day. We had so much fun, at least that's what I thought." "Dazai, why don't you come back to us?" Dazai sighed lowering his gun. "I have a better life here. I will never go back to the Port Mafia with you Mori. Burn in hell." 

"Tch, what a pity. Well, I have no reason to be here anymore." Mori finished his glass of wine, "Well, now it's just one sheep." Mori's figure faded in front of everyone's eyes. "Where did he go?! Search for him, now!-" "Kunikida, he's gone. Trust me. Mori is long gone." Chuya started laughing again, clenching his gut. "Dazai, I never expected you to become one of the good guys." "And I never expected you to still serve under Mori Chuya. Why don't you leave him and the mafia?" Chuya thought for a moment before answering.

"Well, I had fun, I meant people that I can tolerate. Akutagawa, Gin, Ryūrō, you know all of them. Plus I'm an executive, so I'm respected, people admire me, they admire my work and my loyalty! I will never receive that if I leave the Mafia." "Yes, you can Chuya. I respect you-" "Oh shut up asshole, you're just saying that utter bullshit. You don't mean it. For Christ's Sake, you left the Mafia without even telling me! I was your partner, we told each other everything! Yet you can't even get the balls to tell me you were leaving. I had to find that out from Mori!" Chuya wiped a single tear off his cheek. "I enjoyed my partnership with you." Chuya stepped backward, closer to the edge. "Chuya, don't do this, just surrender, we have you surrounded we can take you out." Dazai took a step forward, his gun in his hand, but lowered. "Tch, you asshole." Chuya stepped backward falling. Dazais's heart dropped, he dropped his gun and ran after Chuya with no hesitation. "Dazai!!" Kunkidia screamed, that was the last thing Dazai heard before he jumped off the building with his partner. "Chuya!" "Dazai!? What the hell man! Are you insane!?-" Dazai grabbed Chuya and pulled him into his embrace. "Let me go out with you, partner."
