Until I found Him. (Bonus Chapter)

 "Chuu, wake up." Dazai lightly poked his finger on Chuya's shoulder repeatedly, Chuya's eyes fluttered open, and he rolled over to face Dazai. His face flustered up and he sprung up. "Holy shit. Did I fall asleep in your bed?" Dazai couldn't help himself but laugh at Chuya's reaction, "Haha, you did." Chuya looked away embarrassed, his cheeks were red like a spring rose. "Anyways, class starts in an hour." Dazai got up from the bed making his way to his small kitchen area. Chuya got up following Dazai into the kitchen.

Chuya grabbed his laptop, textbook, and other materials packing them up in his book bag. "Here." Dazai handed him a cup of warm steaming coffee. Chuya thanked him and drank the piping hot coffee, "It's not bad." Chuya looked at the brunette-haired boy, and Dazai exchanged a smile. Dazai and Chuya walked to the school campus together, "Good morning Dazai-kun! Oh, you must be the new transfer student Chuya Nakahara right?" Atsushi got up from sitting on the water fountain to greet his friend Dazai, and Dazai's friend. "Yeah." Chuya adjusted his silver necklace, "Are you in our English class too?" "Yep! I sit next to Dazai." Atsushi beamed, "Cool."

Chuya noticed a group of students nearby, and he recognized them, it was his friends he made yesterday. "Uh, I'll see you both in our class then." Chuya walked over to his group of friends that greeted him with warm caring smiles. "I saw the messages in the group chat Dazai-kun! You and Chuya slept together?!" "No! Yosano was joking around." "Oh. I see, anyways! Are you two friends now?" Atsushi and Dazai started walking to their English class together. "Yep, we are friends now." Three months flew by, and Dazai and Chuya studied almost every night together at his dorm. 

It is now October in Yokohama, the cool crisp autumn air, the tree's leaves turning orange or red. Yosano, Ranpo, Kunikida, Atsushi, and Dazai went out to a restaurant together to celebrate the start to fall break. "Cheers!" They all clinked their beverages together, "Hey you guys. I have a crazy idea." Yosano took a bite of a french fry, "What's up?" Ranpo asked raising his eyebrow. "Hear me out, what if we all go on a road trip together? I have access to an old cabin up North in the woods we can stay for a couple of nights." Everyone liked her idea and agreed to the road trip, they set a date making their road trip official. 

Gin, Higuchi, Akutagawa, Chuya, and Kajii were all together at a downtown bar. "Do you guys have any plans for fall break?" Higuchi asked while sipping her beer, "Nope." "No." "Nah." She chuckled at their responses, "How about we go on a road trip together! Up into the North woods? Akutagawa and I did it last fall break and had so much fun! Right?" She elbowed him playfully, "Yeah." "I'm down." "Me too." "What about you Chuya?" Chuya thought for a moment before answering, "Hmm, yeah I'm down also." "Hooray! I promise you guys will love it." An hour passed by and the group finished drinking the night away.

"Are you sure we can't walk you home Chuya?" Gin asked, "Don't worry, my friend is coming to pick me up." "Oh alright, see you tomorrow." "See you." Chuya pulled out his phone calling Dazai. "Hello?" "Dazai." "Hi Chuu, whatcha doing?" "What are you doing?" Chuya shot back, "Uh, eating leftovers in my fridge." "Can you come to pick me up?" "Where are you at?" "Duzin's bar." "Oh okay, I'll be there in a few." Chuya hung up pulling a cigarette out of his back pocket. A few minutes passed by and Chuya's cigarette died, Dazai rolled down the passenger side window, "Get in Chuu." He smiled, and Chuya got into Dazai's car.

"Did you have fun?" "Yeah. I and my friends are leaving to go on a road trip tomorrow out in the woods." "Wait really?" Dazai glanced over at Chuya who was looking out the car window. "Yeah, I agreed to go." "Do you wanna stay at my place tonight?" Dazai offered, "Yeah. That'll be nice." The short car ride was silent, Dazai unlocked his apartment door, and Chuya got into Dazai's bed to get ready to sleep. "Are you not happy about the road trip?" Dazai asked while getting himself situated in his bed, "This is gonna sound fucking weird. But, I'll miss you." Dazai looked at him, his face got heated up, and his cheeks became red. 

"You are not gonna believe me when I say this but, my friend group is also going on a road trip up North." Chuya turned around facing Dazai, "Shut the fuck up. No your not." Dazai smiled in response, "You are?" "Yep! We're leaving tomorrow." Chuya sighed in relief, "That's amazing." "Heh." Chuya grabbed Dazai's shoulders pulling him closer, he placed his intoxicated lips onto Dazai's and they both melted into a warm nighttime kiss.

In the morning, Chuya left Dazai's dorm early to meet with his friends. Once they picked Chuya up they ended to the woods. Eventually, Dazai's friend group picked Dazai up and their road trip to the North woods began. The two groups casually bumped into each other a few times in the woods, during the night Dazai made his way to Chuya and his friends' small cabin to spend the night together. The nighttime was their time.
