The door opened and Giles hid in the darkness. It's been days since he was separated from Dorothy in Denver. That's a long time for a human, but not for Giles. He was a mythical creature that lived in eternity, and his sense of time was different from that of humans. When the Argo left Denver, leaving Dorothy behind, Giles had two options. First, he would get off the Argo and returns to Denver to find Dorothy. Second, he would stay on the Argo and waits for Dorothy to catch up. Giles chose the latter. The reason was that he didn't have the confidence to find Dorothy when he returned to Denver. On the other hand, it was easy for Dorothy to find the Argo, because no one knew about it. He was sure Dorothy would have said this too. You must not act arbitrarily. All follow my instructions!

A few men entered the wagon. They brought in the big machine they had brought out an hour ago.

"Will they be rescued safely?"

"They will."

"But they're up in a tall tree. How will the rescue team help them?"

"I don't know how, but it works."

"If there is anything we can do, we would like to cooperate."

"I'm telling the Captain," Wilbur said to Orville, then yelled at his assistants. "Hey, watch out for the right side! You'll hit the door!"

The Wright brothers were having trouble loading and unloading the Wright Flyer.

"Why don't we make the wings foldable," said Orville. "It makes it easier to store."

"Fold it, huh..."

"Is it no good?"

"No, I think it's a good idea."

"Then what are you worried about?"

"In addition to folding, I was wondering if the Wright Flyer could take off from the moving Argo."

"What do you mean?"

"We're going to make the roof retractable. We'll set up the Light Flyer's launch pad here and raise it up to the roof with a hydraulic jack. Imagine an ancient trebuchet."

"Great idea."

"Let's start designing it right away. I'll show it to the captain as soon as it's done. Huh?"

"What happened?"

"Who is there?"

"Eh?"

Wilbur put his index finger in front of his lips. Then he peered into the darkness of the wagon.

"Who's there?" he called. "I know you're here. Come out quietly."

There was no reply. But Wilbur continued.

"Are you a reporter? A hobo? Or a spy?" If you don't come out, I'll call the guards. I don't know what will happen. Please don't complain if you get killed. "

"Okay," was the reply. It sounded like a boy's voice.

A boy in a newsboy hat and angora wool coat emerged from the darkness. The Wright brothers were relieved that the opponent did not look strong.

"Boy. What's your name?" asked Orville.

Giles answered honestly with his name.
